1. Fruits and juice will make it worse because they have acid in them.
2. To help acid reflux don’t eat before bed and sleep with your head slightly propped.
3. Antacids should help, I find mylanta is very helpful.
Eat many small meals per day. Eat slowly, chewing well. Limit quantity of oily foods, fried foods, salad dressings, raw veggies & carbonated drinks (soda & beer).
I suffered from acid reflux and heartburn for years. I used to take all the prescription medications, over-the-counter treatment and antacids. I was spending $100′s each month on those. They provided a little relief for a few hours, but did not cure anything.
It was only when I went on "The Acid Reflux Diet" did my pain end permanently. What I discovered that was taught to me in this program is that it is all in the foods you eat. Some foods cause pain and other foods provide comfort.
Until you know what to eat, if you suffer from acid reflux or heartburn it will continue forever. This book also taught me about herbs and dietary supplements that work better than all the drugs I was taking and they don’t have any side affects at all. The drugs where causing me all kinds of problems.
Good luck ending your pain, I have been there and NEVER want to go back.
