What should I do for my sinus infection?
What should I do for my sinus infection? I have major headaches and sensitivity to light. I am extremely tired.
As of now, I am on:
-Amoxicilyn (sp?)
-Rhinocort
-Singulair(for asthma)
-Advil cold and sinus
-And frequent sinus rinses
I have been to my doctor, and she recommended the above.
I am going to an ENT next week, and probably getting CAT scans
What "at-home" remedies should I do?

I use to work for an ENT. Go to Walgreen’s, walmart, cvs where ever and pick up a sinus rinse kit. You will have to mix the contents in the box with luke warm water and while you are in the shower, stand bent over and flush out your sinuses with the included syringe. It may sound really gross, but it does work.
I have the same symptoms. In the past I would use a 200 mil gm of predizone for five days and it would clear me up until the next pollen season, But it became worse each year. So this year I went an ENT doctor and had a cat scan, It appears I have some large and small pollups on both sides as well as a deviated septum. My options were either to continue to suffer or have an operation to remove the pollups and straighten my septum. I chose the operation to get back to breathing and
smelling again.
