That happened to me and it was an infected tooth (abscessed). I had to go on antibiotics for a week. I was one of the worse pains I have experienced. If it is really bad you could also go to your family doctor. Hopefully thats not what it is though, the longer you leave it the worse it gets. Good luck!! The stuff tasts right nasty but it does relieve tooth pain. Just keep it away from your tongue. Depending on what's actually going on, some ice chips might also help.
