I have gotten a few yeast infections during this pregnancy and do not want to use monistat or perscription stuff anymore.
Is it o.k. to use plain yogurt or acidophilus pills to treat them ? Anyone else use this method of treatment

Are you more susceptible to yeast infections while you’re on birth control? I’ve had four different ones since I started about three months ago.
Thanks for the advice! I should’ve said this first:I’m not sexually active, I’m taking this to regulate my periods, so I’m not getting it from anyone.

I seem to be getting and keeping really bad yeast infections and the only time I seem to get rid of it is when i’m on my period. I haven’t had sex, so I don’t know what is causing it? What are the possibilities?

Everytime I am intimate with my boyfriend I get a yeast infection, I really think it is because he uses his saliva as a lubricant when I dry up. What do you think? How can I prevent these yeast infections from occuring? We use protection everytime as well.

i have probably changed my birth control pill 2 or 3 times in the past 4 months…could this possibly be the reason that my yeast infections keep coming back? on my first birth control pill that i was on consistantly for 4 months..i only had 1 yeast infection and then i was fine. it seems like the minute i change the pill i have an infection once or twice every month.

I have heard from several women that they get bumps along with their yeast infections, is this true? Also, I know of a girl who was tested for herpes when this happened and it turned out to only be a yeast infection. Does anyone know anything on this subject?
