ok so in the past 3 months ive had 2 yeast infections and I’ve gone to the doctor for both. my doctor asked if diabetes ran in my family an I told her that both my grandfathers have it. my doctor said that if I keep getting these infections she’s going to have to test me for diabetes. I’m kinda confused because I don’t see the conection.

I was wondering how they test men for yeast infections. Is it just a urine test or what?

I get yeast infections alot, & i’ve been on the pill for about a year. I never had one before the pill…is this a contributing factor?

I got a yeast infection a couple of days ago around the same time I had sex… I hear men don’t get affected by it and something like 10-12% get a rash on their penis? Anyways is it necessary to tell the guy I have one?
Well I keep hearing yeast infections are NOT sexually transmitted though.

I get yeast infections regularly (usually every 9 weeks, give or take) I do all I can to prevent them and treat them. But it keeps coming back. Is this normal?

Over the course of six months I’ve had really, bad yeast infections and they just keep coming back. I went to the doctor today because I have been having alot of itching but no discharge for a couple months. She told me that it is a yeast infection and she gave me a stronger dose of medication…

The question is how do I prevent them from occuring? They drive me crazy and I dont know why they arent going away. What can I do so it dosent come back

I know that putting plain yogurt into your vag can help with yeast infections…but how do I get it in there? I am not going to freeze it because I have roommates and I am not going to put a bunch of yogurt filled tampons in our freezer. Besides that I’m not to keen on the idea of sticking icicles in there.

How else can I get the yogurt in?

I’ve also heard that u could dip a tampon in yogurt and wear it 4 direct contact in the vagina. About how long do u keep it in the vagina for it 2 work? Does this also get rid of vaginal odor?

I have to be on birth control pills due to midcycle spotting and severe cramps. But I keep getting yeast infections. They’re chronic and go away only to come back in a few days. Is it safe to take acidophilus pills on a regular basis? Maybe I don’t have enough good bacteria in my system to decrease the yeast growth.

a doctor once told me sometimes once you treat a yeast infection you will get a bacteria infection.then he said that i can use something to block the yeast infections.because once i treat one or the other another comes so its an ongoing process.it will stop for a little while but eventually it comes back.any advice would be good advice.i can find it ,where or what should i do?
