After taking Yasmin for 1-2 years and finding out it’s a really bad BCP (on my physical health), I switched to Alesse 28. I’m starting to realize that birth control is taking an effect on my libido. I have a couple of questions…

Is there a type of birth control pill that is less harmful to your libido?

Is there a better birth control method that is better for your libido (that isn’t condoms…)?

I wanted to ask you girls out there about Yasmin. I have been taking Yasmin for about three years now. It seems to work well. My flow has been regulated, my period arrives like clockwork, and I have been protected against pregnancy. But, call me crazy, but it possible for a BCP to cause weird symptoms such as anxiety, stomach pain, chronic yeast infections, and insomnia? I was reading some message boards about this pill and it seems a lot of girls have these same experiences in time! I didn’t know if any of you have had these experiences or know any further information on this! I have appt. with the gyno on 07/13/07 and I want to discuss this with him. Any suggestions or knowledge would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
