I have decided to get my mercury amalgam fillings removed because I do not trust the controversy surrounding them. What is the safest way to get them replaced with composites?Any info appreciated.
In reply to doctor matt there has been controversy and it is still going on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dental_amalgam_controversy
but I appreciate the info.
What precautions will the dentist take to prevent me from inhaling mercury vapour when he/she drills out my filling?

I saw that on Wikipedia, but I thought rheumatoid arthritis was idiopathic?

How do bacteria in your mouth obtain food?

I need to know how bacteria in the mouth obtain food. I also need a source besides Wikipedia to look at and get more details. Thanks!

Can you get bedsores on your feet?

I was wondering if someone could be so lazy that they would develop bedsores on the bottom of their feet. The Wikipedia entry is far too gross to actually read and get an answer.

Why do many who are skeptical about conventional medicine(despite the overwhelming body of scientific research on which it is based) accept the (often bizarre) claims of alternative therapies such as homeopathy, apparently without need for evidence?

Why are many anti-GM (genetically modified) food campaigners wanting GM food to pass safety standards that organic food couldn’t pass?

Why do many believe that conventional chicken contains hormones, despite this practise having been made illegal decades ago?

Why do many believe that conventional produce contains harmful pesticides, despite testing showing that >90% of non-organic food has zero detectable residue? (And the remaining generally having measurements that are magnitudes lower than the scientifically established safe exposure levels.)

I need a primary source of information on diplomatic immunity for a research paper. I can NOT use Wikipedia or any encyclopedia. The source MUST be unbiased and from someone with experience with diplomatic immunity written by the same person. Any tips?

When I said efficient, I was strictly refering to data stored per unit volume. The question came from sheer curiosity, and I have no delusions about storing my music or emails using genetic material. Wikipedia says that the human DNA contains information equivalent to a "book over one billion words long." Approximately how many megabytes is one billion words? Assume that the words are in English and of average length.

What are the medical benefits of quinoa?

Hi,

I have been doing some research on the quinoa plant. I can’t seem to find enough information on the benefits medically from the quinoa. Can you help me, by telling me the medical benefits of the plant? As well as, which part of the plant helps each medical condition/problem? Links(not wikipedia) to sites about the medical benefits can help me too.

Thank you!
