Also, what mutations in viral structures would make a virus better able to escape the immune system?
I’m thinking the glycoproteins on the surface of the virus. It’s not epitope.

I know you’re thinking, uhm no they are a different strand of virus right? Well yes, that’s what I thought until I got myself into a Google frenzy and on many other answer sites and forums ETC, they’re saying and giving "personal" examples of this not being true. Saying that they personally had a wart on their hand etc and masturbated and got genital warts and it was affirmed by their doctor. But this is the internet so…. Is this possible or not?

A virus is foreign RNA enters the body and actually becomes part of the cell’s DNA. Cancer is caused when the DNA of a cell becomes mutated one way or another and the cell will divide and replicate uncontrollably. Both "virused" and cancerous cells are cells with mutations in the DNA. To me, virus is just RNA that causes mutation from the outside whereas cancer is mutations that come from within. Where is the real difference between these two mutations, if not in potency and ability to damage the body?

I am a week and a half late on my period. Yesterday I woke up very nauseated but it went away around noon. Today i woke up a little more nauseated than yesterday and it is about to be 4pm and i still feel nauseated. Could i have a virus or could it be morning sickness?

I know that:
1) the virus can inject its nucleic acid into the cell.
2) If a virus is contained in an envelope, it
may enter in a second way. After the virus attaches,
the membrane of the host cell surrounds the virus.
This creates a vacuole inside in the host cell’s
cytoplasm that contains the virus. When the virus
breaks out of the vacuole, it releases its nucleic
acid into the cell.
BUT do these two different methods both involve the lytic cycle? Is the cell destroyed in both cases?

Hey I have 2 questions:
1.is a virus a bacteria(or the other way around?)?Where do bacterias fit if they’re not viruses and the other way around?
2.I’d also like to know the difference between viral and bacterial DISEASES,not between viruses and bacterias.I know you can cure bacterial diseases with antibiotics and you can’t viral, but I wanna know the difference between the two.
Hopefully you’ll be able to help, thank you very much!

I assume this is a virus because when I start in safe mode from time to time I see it there. Most of the time I am able to get rid of it after running SuperAntiSpyware and SpyBot Search & Destroy. However, both those programs have come back clean and its still there. I ran them in safe mode as well as Eusing Registry Cleaner and CCleaner. How do I know if its a virus? What else can I run to get rid of it?

A The virus must attack the reproductive cells of the host.
B The virus must first transform the host cell.
C The virus must insert its DNA into the genome of the host.
D The virus must burst the host cell to release the DNA so nearby cells can take it in.

My husband has experienced muscle soreness and fatigue for about four days now. His doctor told him it is not Lime disease, Foot and Mouth disease, etc. The doctor didn’t bother prescribing anything to my husband b/c he said by the time he gets the prescription the virus should have passed through his system. My husband forgets what the doctor even called the virus. It either started w/an "m" or "em." Any insight is appreciated. (I feel sore and somewhat weak, too.) Thanks.

Write a story about the body’s specific defense system (active immunity) from the perspective of an invading virus. In other words, discuss or describe hoe the body would respond to your (a virus) infective presence.

I found out that I have spyware. I used my online banking for about 2 minutes the day before I found the virus. Can someone go back to the day before and get my password, or do you need to actually be typing in the password in order for someone to get it. Your help would be appreciated.

As I heard somewhere that immunity you get by having a vaccine only lasts temporarily, rather than having the virus and getting natural immunity to it.
Also if it is temporarily, how long does it last for? And what’s the point of a vaccine then!
