My dog has severe acid reflux. I’ve seen vet after vet who’ve all told me there is nothing they can do for her. Someone told me of a natural remedy (Active Manuka Honey). Has anyone ever heard of this, let alone tried it? If there’s any other remedies you’ve heard please let me know. Thank you!

My horse has a runny nose, and the vet thinks he has a sinus infection. How will he cure him? Is this a big problem? There is a chance that there may be fluid in his lungs. How is this cured? Is this serious please help!

My dog is about six years old. About six weeks ago, the vet diagnosed heartworm with a blood sample. The vet indicated that the treatment will cost about 0 and there is a risk my dog may not survive treatment. I can’t afford the cost of treatment right now and I was wondering how long can he survive without it. Or is there is any home treatment or a way to slow it down.

I realize that my 1 year old female cat has a flea problem developing. It is in the stage of larva. It seems not to effect her at all. She eats very well, at her proper weight and is always happy and exicted. Is the flea treatable since it is the stage of larva? Any good treatment to buy with out going to the vet?

Hello. I took my one month old kitten to the vet to get him tested out and he gave him parasite treatment for he first time. How long will it take for him to get better?
Also I noticed tonight his belly got really big after the treatment, but he is eating and acting normal. Should I worry?
Thanks
I found him a week ago in the backyard. He stays in my room and I feed him wet kitten food.

Is the flea medicine you can buy at PetCo and PetSmart just as good as the medication you can get from your vet?

I just got a puppy from the pound and he had kennel cough, I took him back and they said that there is no treatment for this. They did give him antibiotics for a possible secondary infection but kennel cough has to run its course much like a humas virus has to. They did say I can use Robitussin DM for the coughing symptoms. The puppy is fine but now my older dog has it, the vet said we have to let it run its course but she looks so miserable. I am giving her robitussin but I want to give her a boost of natural antibiotics that are safve for dogs. I did get some drops from the health food store but they do not have any antibiotic properties.
HELP! Thanks

My puppy was recently diagnosed with clostridial overgrowth. His is being treated with Metronidazole. Do I need to take him back to the vet in several weeks? Is this the best treatment? How did this happen, and how can it be prevented?
What I’m looking for is information in how it develops in puppies and how to prevent it. My vet didn’t lend much insight. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this.

he has to be on antibiotics until saturady due to cough/sneezes he has already had one lot of antibiotics but at 22 weeks old i am concerned about his little tummy especially as he was hand raised from birth. he weighs in at 3.01kg a good weight for a norwegian forest cat kitten of this age and he still eats well.
also why have my adult cats not gone down with this infection (my vet seems to think it all started out as an allergy that then developed in to something worse) we do not know what tho. the only thing we can think off is either the paper based litter we had to use for a while or the air freshener that we brought. has any one else had experience of this.

My puppy was diagnosed with roundworms (GROSS!!). She was given deworming medicine this afternoon at the vet’s office. How long does it take to run its course and if treatment goes well, how long until she’s rid of the worms?
Side note: We have another dose of medicine to give 2 weeks from today and an appointment in four weeks.
Thanks!

She is constantly over-grooming, to the point of patches of fur starting to disappear. She’s done this before, and she usually stops after a while, but this last time it’s gotten a lot worse, and she even caused a scab (presumably). Without resorting to another trip to the vet, what home remedies could I use to dissuade her from this bad habit?

My dog had a bad flea problem. We have FINALLY gotten rid of the stupid things but my dog still scratches and his skin is very red. He even has a few spots that are bleeding. He has lost some hair but the Vet told us that it will grow back. Are there any home remedies that I can use to soothe this poor guys itching?
