Cramps!!??

I have the WORST cramps right now (menstrual) – I’ve already taken two Advils, and they clearly haven’t gotten the job done. What can I do to relieve these cramps? They’re like.. pains in my thigh and lower abdomen, and extremely uncomfortable :(
(btw, I can’t get Midol, or whatever… is it safe to take another 1 or 2 Advils? or can I take a Tylenol (or Equate pain reliever, my mom only buys generic haha)?

I am having gallbladder surgery next week, and am supposed to stop taking ipuprofin (advil) and any other blood thinning medications (like naproxen – alleve). I am allergic to tylenol. I have been having a fever on and off. Is there any fever reducer I can take that is not a blood thinner, that I am not allergic to? Thanks….

What are the reasons for a high fever not responding to tylenol and advil? It’s actually going a little up instead of down.

How did you deal with migraines while pregnant?

Being that you can only take tylenol (does nothing) I’m wondering what you do about the pressure from these migraines.

I’m about 9 weeks pregnant and have been getting absolutely terrible migraines. I’ve been taking tylenol but it doesn’t do a bit of good and I’m miserable! Your feedback is greatly appreciated!!

I have been having migraines since I was about 12 years old. But lately, for the past year, the left side of my head has been hurting more than a migraine. Its more like a sharp pain as well as my eye hurts. I dont know what to do. I take tylenol but that doesnt work anymore. I need help. Thanks!

What should i do if i keep getting fever?

Please i need help, i’ve been getting fever for the last three days. I don’t feel pain is just fever. I have been taking tylenol it helps the fever to go away, then i feel good for a couple of hours and then the fever returns. Occasionally my head hurts.

Her temperature is 102 degrees, rectally. I gave her a little bit of tylenol to see if that will bring it down some, I am planning on taking her to doctor, but the office does not open for another 1 1/2 hours. I could not remember what is a really high fever rectally though, because i know that is normally a tad higher than doing the ear.

I started with a small tickle in my throat this morning and now I have a complete soar throat with slight nausea after taking some daytime Tylenol. I just wanted to know if there are any recognizable differences between the regular everyday sicknesses and the Swine Flu so you can easily say for yourself that are have the Sine Flu virus. Serious answers only please.

My 7 month old started a fever today of 99.9. As soon as I noticed, I have gave her tylenol to keep it under control. She started feeling a lil warm again before her next dose. How high of a fever is when you start worrying or take to the doctor??

How come when you take tylenol your fever goes away?

I know it is a fever reducer, BUT what I mean, is if you are sick with a virus or something that is causing a fever, a lot of times, all you have to do is take tylenol and your fever is gone! I would think that once the tylenol wore off, your fever would go back up again, but that isn’t the case a lot of times. It’s "oh, just take some tylenol and you’ll be fine". That make sense?

My daughter (6 weeks) got her first immunization today (8:30 am) and she is miserable …I gave her half dropper of infant Tylenol @ 8am and at 12pm. Now it is 2:14pm, she is crying…I should better say screaming b/c of pain. Tried to breastfeed her but she does not really want…any ideas how to make it better for her?

My 2 mo old is running a low grade fever constantly after vaccinations. I am giving him tylenol every 4 hours, with not much improvement. I am letting him nurse alot to keep him hydrated, what else can I do to help him get over this fever faster?
