A dear friend of mine has Stage 3A lung cancer, but also has Parkinson’s Disease, and there appear to be limited treatment options. Can anyone provide some guidance on this issue?

My wife has been suffering from hemorrhoids since her pregnancy with our first child.
We’ve tried all kinds of hemorrhoids home treatment options but so far, nothing works.
Is there anything out there that can stop the bleeding, itching and the pain?

I’ve tried everything on the market I think. I’ve heard that alternative medicines may have the answer.
Are there any alternative or homeopathic boils treatment options out there that actually work?

My husband is 38 years old. He takes Lexapro and Lamictal for a mood disorder and depression. He has decreased libido and low serum testosterone levels. He has taken Androgel in the past but is interested in other treatment options. Are there any herbal supplements or natual remedies that are safe to use? Does anyone out there have any first-hand experience with any of them?

We have kitttens and unfortunately, also fleas. Also, we have a daughter that is severely allergic to certain chemicals.

What are some safe treatment options for treating 15-week old kittens without creating a lot of breathing problems for our daughter?

Also, note that cost is a big consideration. We cannot afford expensive chemicals.

I am 24 years old and I just found out that I have RA (rheumatoid arthritis). I don not want to take medications for the rest of my life and am just wondering if I have any other approaches for treatment options.

Hi, my name’s Larry.

Thanks to my strong faith in Christ, I have been able to withstain from homosexuality for almost 3 weeks! Unfortunately, those devilish urges are still there. Along with my strong faith in the Lord, what treatment options are available to help me in my personal fight against homosexuality?

I am aconsidering treatment options for hemorrhoids, and have heard of band or ligature treatment. If anyone has had this done, how painful is it. How about IRC treatment, infared coagulation therapy, does that hurt a lot?

Out of the universe of all patients seeking treatment, there is certainly some percentage that medical science simply has no treatment options for, regardless of how much money is spent. I’m trying to get a rough idea of how large that group is. I know the answer depends on how we define "treatment" or "illness" and that many patients report multiple problems, some of which are treatable and some of which are not. But, any kind of statistical set that attempts to isolate a group of people that medicine cannot help would be greatly appreciated.

My mother rencety had total thyroidectomy and she got diagonosed with Anaplastic Thyroid cancer. Every where I read that it typically requires a very aggressive treatment plan with surgery, radiation and sometimes even chemotherapy.

I am trying to find for any other possible alternative treatment options like Naturopathy / Homeopathy / Ayurvedic etc.

A very close friend of ours has been diagnosed with prostate cancer (it really *isn’t* my partner or me!) and we were wondering what his treatment options might be.

If the prostate gland is removed, does that eliminate the ability to have sex?

Probably best to have an older person answer this: it’s pretty obvious by the question that this is going to be completely out of the realm of experience for most of the teenagers.
