I am 9 weeks pregnant with first baby. I have been getting morning sickness about all the time. This has been happening since around the 4-5 week. I work 9 hour days and I have to stop because I have to keep running to the toilet. It is getting pretty bad. I have lost 21 pounds because I keep throwing up. My doctor has tried just about everything and we cant find a remedy for it. Does anybody have any idea?

Hello, I have been wanting to try a colon cleanse. I need someone who knows or who has used one to tell me a few things:
is it ok to use one at my age of 15,
will it be painful,
will I be spending the majority of my days on the toilet,
are they safe,
and which one would you personally recommend?
I don’t want to get in over my head here.

My sister has got constipation for years now. The doctors have run all tests on her and the conclusion is that the constipation is caused by stress, not health problems. She really has a lot of stress. But she has tried everything, pills, even enema, but no solution. If she takes nothing, (no pills or enema), 10-12 days may pass without visiting the toilet. Are there any food that help people like her, with severy problem?

I’ve read about the anti-bacterial properties of tea tree oil and that it can be used as a natural cleaner. If I put several drops of it in a spray bottle with water, can I use it to clean my bathrooms, etc.? Will it kill germs good enough? Do I need it to sit on the surface for a certain amount of time before wiping off?
If not, what’s another 100% natural cleaning agent that can be used as a disinfectant, not just an all-purpose cleaner but something I can clean the toilet with.

Someone in my family has very hard bowel movements that often block up the toilet. He already drinks a lot of water and eats a lot of fruits and vegetables, and doesn’t experience constipation or any difficulty…just toilet blockage (and it’s not the toilet because it happens in all toilets). I assume it’s because his intestines are taking too much water out of the stool but since he already drinks a lot of water, etc. I don’t know what would help. Anybody dealt with something similar?

I was born with Bowel Conditions, I can never go to the toilet properly without taking my Laxitive. Sometimes i forget to take it, Sometimes i just cant be bothered to take it, (My fault) i know.
Its called Dulcolax, Sodium Picosulfate. If i dont take it for like 2 weeks i dont go to the toilet for days on end. When i take my medicene after 2 weeks of not taking it, it gives me cronic pains in my stomach and anus, and is it even normal to be able to feel the fecal matter in your stomach with ur hands???
Btw i’m 15 if that helps??

I had a bowel movement this morning, and the toilet was COVERED in bright red blood. I am only 6 weeks pregnant and have never experienced hemorrhoids before. I thought that it was just a little bit of blood when you have hemorrhoids. Also, not severe pain, but a little uncomfortable. Could it be more serious? I have a call into my doctors and have not gotten a call back yet =/

My Dad has diabetes and all he does is sleep in bed all day everyday. He needs help to go to the toilet and changes his mood every second. His eyes always get swollen and he is super thin! I don’t know what food to make for him since he can’t have oil, fat, and fried foods! I don’t know what to do!

I was recently told that I was full of crap! I pondered this question for a moment or two, then headed straight to you, the insightful ones.
So how is one to know if they are truly in need of a cleansing, or as what a colonic preveyor may refer to as detoxification.
Now, if my schooling taught me anything, it was that the colon, also called the large intestine follows the small intestine and comprises the end of the gastrointestinal tract. Now, we learned that most nutrients from food are absorbed in the small intestine. This would entail the colon to absorb water and salts from the stool while it pushes it along through the rectum. Correct?
Wouldn’t laxatives work just the same? They promote bowel movements, have been around for atleast 3892 Years!
Colon cleansing refers to a more invasive procedure of water and hoses stuck you-know-where. It’s not clear when this practice started.
It’s not poo in the toilet that ponders my couriosity, it’s the poo in me!
