I need to lose some weight before I go back to college again. I’m eating healthier and going to the gym at least 2 hrs. But I want to lose weight a bit faster by detoxing. The question says it all, I would like to preserve a sample of a colony of bacteria for future use and experimentation. I need a way of keeping bacteria dormant for at least 6 months. I then need to be able to take the sample and start a new colony on a petri dish and a nutrient solution.
Can I freeze bacteria without killing them?
If not, is there a mixture of fluids I can throw together that will keep the bacteria alive without allowing them to multiply rapidly?

Hi, Has anyone heard of a homeopathic treatment for an ear infection that involves wetting an aspirin (or possibly some other pain reliever) in your ear? This is for an adult in his 50s, not a child, but I still would like to check before I recommend this to him. I thought I saw this home remedy on tv awhile ago but I might be mistaken. I am pretty certain that my cat has conjunctivitis in his left eye. I have read all the symptoms from the internet (he has almost all of them), and have seen a picture of a cat with the infection and his eye looked exactly like my cat’s does. My grandmother can’t move on her own. she’s in a hospital bed with an air mattress that moves around somewhat but she is still getting a bed sore on her behind.
