Last year I began jogging everyday and after about two months of it my rheumatoid arthritis kicked in and my knee swelled up to the point of not being able to bend it. Currently I do lower impact cardio activities but I really enjoyed running and I want to start again. Does anyone know of a good knee brace that will potentially help with the high impact of running so that it does not cause too much stress on my knee?

I’ve been under tremendous stress lately and my acid reflux has gone out of control. Not getting much sleep either, some nights none. Is there a connection between reflux and stress/worry/fatigue?

I am witing something freelance and just wondering if anyone can give me an addequite difference between drug abuse and drug addiction.
The definition of an addict is: 1. To cause to become physiologically or psychologically dependent on a habit-forming substance
2. To occupy (oneself) with or involve (oneself) in something habitually or compulsively
Definition of drug abuse: he use of illegal drugs or the inappropriate use of legal drugs. The repeated use of drugs to produce pleasure, to alleviate stress, or to alter or avoid reality (or all three).
The use of a drug for a purpose other than that for which it is normally prescribed or recommended.
the habitual misuse of a chemical substance
They are very similar definitions. Almost the same.
Why are people either classified as a drug abuser or a drug addict? Drug abusers don’t usually get the intese care an addict does. Remember, the definition for addic includes psychological addiction… not just physical.

What is the best herbal remedy you have taken for anxiety and stress? I have been told to take Rescue Remedy but want to look at all my options. I am currently taking Xanax once a day and would like to get off them.

I have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure. I suspect it is a blend of stress and genetics. I would like to steer away from taking long term prescription meds. Any suggestions or links to medical trials done on this subject recently? Personal experiences are welcome.

I get slight migraines when my body is under stress. Like when I’m working too hard, my sinuses are acting up, I’m worrying too much. What are things I can do to make my head feel better? It feels like there’s a ring around my head and someone is pushing down on it. I took migraine medicine years ago, but I’m seeking new solutions.

I’m not a big believer in taking vitamins. I actually do not like taking any kind of drugs of any sort, even for a headache. Can lack of sleep and stress weaken your immune system even if you are eating properly and exercising?

I know my teacher won’t just let me do it purely on chronic fatigue, she will want more depth in the essay. I’m thinking I could link it with stress for an essay about stress which leads to chronic fatigue syndrome. What else could I link it with?

Well my dad bought these capsules, and it says vitamin E : antioxidant protection against oxidative stress. He said it helps with stress or something because I have been really stressed about school and all that.
The question is, what will it do for me?
Will there be any side effects?
Should I take them? (I’m 13 )
Thanks

My sister has got constipation for years now. The doctors have run all tests on her and the conclusion is that the constipation is caused by stress, not health problems. She really has a lot of stress. But she has tried everything, pills, even enema, but no solution. If she takes nothing, (no pills or enema), 10-12 days may pass without visiting the toilet. Are there any food that help people like her, with severy problem?
