I have been getting this recurring fever (with all the aches and pains and such) with a horrible sore throat every 2- 3 months for about 2 and a half years. Any one know what this is?

My 7 year old little sister has had 104 degree fever for about 4 hours. She has a slight cough, but no sore throat. She does feel fatigued. I am worried that it may be swine flu, but how long should I wait to go to the doctor? Should I wait at least 24 hours to see if the symptoms worsen? Is it possible that it may be a regular for allergies instead of swine flu?

How do I stop getting sick? I am coughing, congested. I gave two people at work and a friend of mine the disease so I am contagious. I have a dr’s appt today to get antibiotics, how do I prevent this? I didn’t get sick all winter long because I got the flu shot and then this summer in June I got sick with similar symptoms but no phlegmy cough. Then a few weeks ago I was feeling a sore throat and slept a lot and drank a lot of tea. This time I got the sore throat and got sick.
I heard propolis bee extract is a good thing to take. can i get the flu shot multiple times in a year?

I have a really sore throat and wondered if anybody knew any home remedies to ease the pain?
My boyfriend last week was told he had tonsillitis so would it be best to go to the doctors and get myself checked out?

To be more specific, I have an earache in each ear, head ache, runny stuffed up nose, fever, sore throat, and sneezing.

Well I’m sick right now with a sore throat but I hardly get sick and when I do I feel better in days. Does this mean my immune system is strong? I don’t really want to go to the doctor to tell.

I had sore throat three days and then now I got severe deep consistent cough, with chills or high fever.

What could this be?

Over spring break (April 4-April 9) I went to New York City. Cases of the swine flu are now being recognized in the city and I am experiencing symptoms of an upper respiratory infection. I’m scared I’ve been exposed. How long after exposure to swine flu do symptoms take to generate?

My symptoms include sore throat, nasal congestion, fever, and very mild coughing. I don’t however have nausea or diarrhea, which is also stated as a symptom. Help! I’m scared. I live in Atlanta and I don’t want to be the one who brings swine flu to Georgia.

I always get sinus infections whenever the weather changes. It’s starting now with the sore throat, mucous, and chest soreness/congestion. Does anyone know why this happens and/or have any good remedies that are preferably holistic?
