I have a terribly runny nose and whenever the mucous comes out of my nose, it leaves this sort of stinging sensation on the region of skin between my nose and upper lip. I’m guessing this is because the mucous is somewhat acidic and irritates the skin. But it is really irritating because every time I blow my nose, I have to come in contact with the region that stings. Does anybody know a remedy (either some natural remedy or the name of some manufactured cream) that can help me? Thank you.

I want to get some cold medicine but what do I get? All I have is a small fever not and then, chest congestion and a runny nose with sneezing. There are so many medicines to buy but I don’t want to but something that isn’t for me.

I’m 13 and I’ve been sick for almost a week … I have runny nose, headache, and heavy and hurtful cough with a low or sort of high tempereature. Any tips or quick remedies from home to help cure this little cold or flu so I won’t have to miss any more school?

We rescued this great little dog from the Humane society, it would really break our hearts to have to get rid of this dog. My daughter seems to be allergic (sneezing, runny nose) to her. The dog is only allowed in part of the downstairs and we have only had her a few days. I’m wondering if at her young age she can build up immunity to this allergy, or if there is a safe medication to help her combat it. Obviously we want to keep the dog, but at the same time we can’t have our preschool age little girl miserable, or taking medictions all the time. She loves our new dog as well, and the symptoms aren’t severe even when they are together. We are trying to exhaust all resources before looking for a new home for this great dog.
Unfortunately, if I left the dog outside in the climate I live in I would wake up to a pupsicle.

My daughter has suddenly got sick today, she is vomiting and has a 102.5 fever and a runny nose. All the doctors offices are now closed for the holidays. So I will take her to the hospital if I cant get her fever down, any suggestions?

If you child is teething, what is an acceptable fever? I know that they have low-grade fevers as a common symptom of teething. What is considered low-grade? Seems like our day care sends our kid home a lot for running fevers and I think it’s probably just him teething since we see other symptoms (finger in mouth, slightly runny nose, red cheeks…).

Hello. Ive been battling with constant sneezing and a runny nose since i woke up this morning. I dont like medications, so i was wondering if anyone knew any home remedies to stop sneezing and a runny nose.

If there wasnt so much hooha going around about swine flu i really wouldnt be worried and since im pregnant i thought i better ask. Does anyone know the risks of swine flu to pregnant woman? Or how to tell the difference from a normal cold to swine flu?

I have a really bad cold(stuffy/runny nose, cough, sore throat, no fever, but the worst is my ears feel like they need to pop so everything is muffled) So my question does anyone have any suggestions about what I can do/take to help get rid of this cold. I know the swine flu gives the symptoms of sneezing, coughing and fever that a normal flu gives you. But I want to know what symptoms does the swine flu gives you besides those symptoms. Like a symptom that would let you know you have the swine flu.
