My 84 year old Grandma recalls her mother making a poultice put on a cut open paper bag then wrapping it around her dad’s head. She suffers with extreme headaches, but doesn’t know exactly what was in this remedy. I told her I’d ask around. Anyone know of any old southern home remedies similar to this?

I am 9 weeks pregnant with first baby. I have been getting morning sickness about all the time. This has been happening since around the 4-5 week. I work 9 hour days and I have to stop because I have to keep running to the toilet. It is getting pretty bad. I have lost 21 pounds because I keep throwing up. I have attempted to get rid of toenail fungus using various remedies: Penlac, TeaTree Oil, other nail fungal topical treatmnts. I have not tried the oral pills due to the doctor’s advice that they can damage liver, they are expensive and not 100% effective. The best remedy I have found is soaking my feet in vinegar daily, which works very well. Can anyone tell me what they have used and has worked? Thanks.
