I am looking for a probiotic to maintain healthy vaginal health. I suffer from reoccuring BV. If anyone has any pros and cons to this supplement I would love to know. Also, if anyone knows any other brand probiotics that have worked well… Thanks!
I am taking "acidopholus", which is apparently a probiotic… I’m wondering what it’s actually doing? And why is it not harmfull? Because I always see in grocery stores in the meat signs that say "made without antibiotics", and I am wondering that why if we get antibiotics, is it a bad thing to put in the meat?
Also, what is the difference between them?

I am eating one Dannon Activia yogurt, one other cup of yogurt, and taking one probiotic pill every day. Is that too much? (Please note that I do have a stomach condition…)
Can you get too many good bacteria, and what happens if you do?
So far they are just making me constipated! Is this a phase that will normalize in a few days or does this mean that this probiotic is not for me?

When they have higher strains does that mean better the product? i purchased one that had 12 billion and my sister has one that had 30 billion…should i be jealous? I’m on cephalexin (keflex) for a bladder infection, and i was wondering when I should take my probiotic (culturelle) - right after I take my antibiotic, right before I take it, etc. ?
I have been taking a very strong probiotic for about a week and now have a yeast infection is this common.
I’ve been drinking the Dannon probiotics, and have been feeling really good, but dont want to drink all that dairy and worry about what the cows were taking too…. GROSS! So… What is a good probiotic. Pill form is fine. Thanks
I got a staph infection and began taking an antibiotic. Shortly after, I got thrush, a fungal infection of the mouth. After reading about thrush, it said to take acidophilus, a probiotic. Can I do this while taking my antibiotic at the same time? I don’t want to make the staph infection get worse or leave the thrush untreated. Any Help?
Will they help replenish the good bacteria or is it pointless. Will the antibiotic kill all of the probiotic I take?
I’ve read and heard that some antibiotics weaken birth control and prevent it from working properly…well, I was wondering if taking Probiotics along with birth control would inhibitit from working, as well. I really like taking a daily Probiotic because I swear by it. It makes my stomach just feel better and I really don’t want to give that up.
He switched to a raw food diet and an acidopholus-based probiotic due to allergies and frequent bouts of diarrhea and poor coat. He is doing beautifully now, but I don’t know if I should keep him on the probiotics or try to wean him off……he’s been taking it for 2 weeks now…….please advise…. thanks!
