I am want to prove I am not on drugs or alcohol. Where can I go to get a drug and alcohol test besides a doctors office or hospital? A drug rehab? I am doing this entirely on my own for personal reasons mostly for evidence.
Ralphons…: What do I ask the pharmacists for at the pharmacy or Wal-Mart?

Do I have to go to my doctor first to get a prescription for Plan B or can I just get it over the counter at a pharmacy? Will my Medicaid insurance cover it without a prescription? Thanks so much for your help

I went to the emergency room on October 12, 2010 late one night
I charged the bill that night to my Medicaid. When my prescription was filled out a few hours later, I went to a pharmacy and was denied because my insurance was canceled.
I called them and they said they canceled my medicaid on September 30.
That means I would receive the ER bill. It’s November 14, when would I receive it? I’m really worried about paying this bill.

My throat started hurting when I woke up yesterday. It’s sort of feels like it’s spiky, It feels better for a while after I drink something. What should I take to get rid of it?
My medicine cabinet is not like a pharmacy, so it would be helpful if you could just tell me the name of a simple medicine that worked for you. Please answer if you know something I can do. Thank you.

While I was at Walmart getting my other medications I asked if Mediciad would pick up for some Celerton and the pharmacy told me only if the doctor writes a prescription will they try to get a co-pay but on the states Medicaid website it list that I could get it? What would you advice?

Both my parents have Medicare and Tricare and are still paying for co pays. Just found out at my local Pharmacy that the insurance should have been covering all of these co pays for years. My parents have been retired for about 9 years. The have been paying for labs, doctors, and medication co pays all this time. Who can they go to to retrieve their money back. They have all their receipts and taxes to prove what they have paid all these years. Can anybody help?

I’ve had bronchitis for about a week so far and it was getting better, but all of a sudden I’ve developed a head splitting headache with a fever today. I have to reduce it quickly because I have my first exam tomorrow that determines if I can go to Uni. No time to go to the doctor or pharmacy (and I have no painkillers). Is there anything I can do?

I always had 120/70 and was told it was perfect, last year I went to the Gyn and they told me my blood pressure was a little high, didn’t tell me the numbers but they said it could be stress, I was going to have a pap-smear after they took my bp. That was the last time I checked my blood pressure , I have been to my family doctor but they never take my BP, today I went to CVS pharmacy and I was so bored waiting I took the test in one of those machines they have. It was 135/80. It surprised me, I waited and see other people getting normal blood pressures , I wanted to make sure the machine was working. I always watch out my diet , I exercise regulary, I eat oatmeal every day even though I hate it. I am concerned, is this considered high? I’m 28 years old and I have never been pregnant, should I go to the doctor?, I don’t feel bad at all , I feel normal.

My daughter is planning to transfer to UC from community college with biology major. She fulfilled her requirements in CC which means that when she later apply to Pharmacy or Medical school, they would notice that all their prerequisites have been taken in CC. Should she retake these classes in the University or not? (O-Chem, Biology, etc.). Will it be even possible?

I have high blood pressure and I monitor my blood pressure readings by going to the grocery store and use the pharmacy BP monitor. Now my doctor told me that I should purchase my own personnel electronic blood pressure monitor and monitor my readings at home instead of going at the store. Any idea of a cheap but accurate blood pressure monitor?

I’m junior in high school now, and I’m looking at going at a medical field. Something in pharmacy to be specific. But, with 6 years of school, what can a medical student do for a job and make half-decent money while still having time to study?
After the first year of university, I’m planning leaving the dormitories and living back in the suburbs (the dorms I heard are iffy, and the university is downtown). So for five years I’d be taking the trains downtown.
Thanks for any answers!

I’m not sure whether or not heavy mineral oil which I found in the constipation section of my local pharmacy is food safe or not. I presume it is ingested as it’s a laxative but am not certain if it’s adequate for the cutting board. If not can someone please tell me where to find the food safe stuff? Thanks in advance!
