What over the counter drugs work for migraines?

I have migraines usually about once every couple of months. I usually use prescription Imitrex, but does anyone use anything over the counter that works? I tried one once, but it didn’t help too much. I get SERIOUS migraines – numbness in my fingers, vision problems, trouble talking and then the headache starts. I also get really, really sick to my stomach. The prescriptions are starting to get expensive so I would like to know if over the counter has worked for anyone?
I don’t get sick because of the medicine I take. Its from the migraine itself. I can handle the headache – but being sick to my stomach for three hours! Its horrible. Do any of the OTC work for nausea?
Another thing – I don’t know what causes my headaches. It used to be that I would get them after swimming (I was on the swimteam and a lifeguard) but ever since I had surgery they have been more frequent.

I have acid reflux, and I am currently taking Prilosec OTC.
It doesn’t seem to help, as I am getting alot of liquid in my mouth (even after I take the medicine).

So, what is the BEST medicine or way to help my acid reflux?

Any home remedies to get rid of warts on hands?

I have 4 warts on one finger–one is huge and goes around the nail at bottom and side. I have used the apple cider vinegar but they did come back. OTC remedies have not helped. Can someone give me more ideas?

What heartburn over the counter drug is best?

I’ve been taking Zantac, but if I miss a dose I get worse heartburn than when I took nothing. Is there a OTC that works when I get heartburn and doesn’t cause a necessity to take it?

I’m 44 and very happily married. I adore my husband and find him very hot. However, I have no sex drive. I’ve heard progesterone deficiency can cause this. I’ve done a little research and found some otc progesterone creams that have wild yam root. Does anyone have experience with this helping low libido?

I have had a yeast infection before that cleared up with OTC meds. I was on antibiotics for a UTI about a week ago, and the Dr. said it may cause a yeast infection. Now I’m experiencing itching and burning, but no odor and a thick, yellowish discharge. I think it might be a yeast infection, but when I had one before I had the typical cottage cheese-like discharge, and this is different. Also, can you treat a yeast infection while having your period?

I have no health insurance and if I just have a yeast infection I would purchase something OTC.
I am not having sex with anybody, last time I had sex with anybody was in June. I haven’t been on any antibiotics because I have no insurance to go to a doctor. It’s very itchy and red on the outside. The discharge I have is like a creamy white color and I have no odor down there. I have better days where it doesn’t bother me and then there are days where all I want to do is just itch. Not sure what other information to supply you with but I hope this helps you more.

I won’t be getting to the dentist for another couple of days, and the entire left side of my head is throbbing. Which is the best OTC medicine to take? Tylonol? Ibuprofin? Asprin? What worked for you?

Are yeast infections supposed to hurt this much?

I’m itchy and all like normal yeast infections cause, but I’m also in extreme pain "down there". It’s swollen and it hurts just to put medicine on it. Is this normal for a yeast infection? This is my first one ever and I really don’t know how to go about treating it with OTC meds.

I have a yeast infection and I am miserable. I don’t have health insurance and can’t afford to see a doctor. Will those OTC remedies for yeast infections actually work? I heard that they can cause more burning and itching before actually helping? What has worked for you in your experience?

Any ideas on good OTC colon cleanse products as well as OTC diuretics?

Any ideas on good OTC colon cleanse products as well as OTC diuretics?

Hey so it’s the start of the New Year so of course everyone is running more including me. I get so sore the day after a good run. I’m not fond of the typical bengay stuff b/c it still too smelly even if it says "now with no smell". I ice down my legs but it gets messy plus it’s so freaking cold outside anyways. I guess I’ll stick to OTC pain reliever pills. Does anyone have advice on muscle soreness from the natural/alternative medicine perspective? Thanks! Caroline

Is there a homeopathic way to lower triglycerides?

I don’t want to buy anything OTC at a pharmacy or be prescribed anything. Im looking for something homeopathic. Thanks.

I know I have a sinus infection and I think instead of moving to my chest like it usually does it has gone to my ears. I can’t hear things like I used to and get very dizzy when I make sudden movements. I tried Tylenol Severe Head Congestion, the whole box, but it didn’t work, only suppressed the sickness. I really can’t miss work, so I will go to a doctor if this gets any worse. But until then, what homeopathic or OTC remedies would you suggest?
