Well, I’ve been sick for about a week and a half now. I feel like I have an ear infection.. I told my mom and she’s just like okay, whatever. I heard that you could go deaf if you leave an ear infection untreated which is a little bit scary but it doesn’t really look like my mom cares, so I doubt I’ll be going to the doctor. So, Is there any home remedies to treat an ear infection?

My mom doesn’t work, she’s a housewife, she has me an older teen, and my sister who is autistic. They’ve been married for 16 years, and have no prenup. Would she be able to live comfortably if they were to get divorced?

My little sister is quadriplegic (was in an accident). She’s physically helpless, is very thin too, and has to be diapered (she can’t control any bodily functions). She’s been getting a type of diaper rash, and the type of cream my mom has isn’t really working. What are the best creams to get and how often should I apply them? Do you have any tips for preventing rashes in the future? She’s a young teenager.

I snort an apparent generic version of ADHD medicine and now I have really bad sinuses, apatite loss, and nausea. And I don’t have a headache but oddly I feel the presences of the headache I had the night I snorted it. I need to know how to get rid of these symptoms quick before my mom finds something out. I know I made an awful decision but I need help fixing it.

My dad was employed at his job for about 30 years and had a good union with great heath benefits (health insurance and drug prescription medicine benefits). My mom is really sick and takes about 6 different prescriptions a month which are really expensive. Since my dad had benefits from his job had only had to pay a co-pay for the drugs. Now he retired and his job does not have retiree benefits. Is there any affordable way for my dad to get the drugs my mom need? She is already on medicare plan b but does not qualify for the prescription medicine part D. Any ideas?

My mom might have goiter or throat cancer and she felt this thing in her throat for like 3 years so we are trying to figure out if you can even live that long without treatment if you have throat cancer?

I have to do a research paper in medical terminology and I decided I would write about my mom’s rheumatoid arthritis. In the research paper I am supposed to pretend that I am a reporter discussing a disease. I wanted to interview my mother about it, but what would be some good questions to ask her about it?

I think I might have insomnia. I’m a 14 year old girl. I’m afraid to tell my mom about it because she already thinks I’m doctor crazy. I just finished therapy a few months ago and I don’t want to go back. What should I do?

My mom had stomach cancer and colon cancer not too long ago. She had a surgery and the tumors were removed. How often should she do body examination for cancer recurrence?
Another similar question: My mom just did a body examination 3 months ago, everything’s fine. But recently her abdomen doesn’t feel well. How fast could cancer grow from nothing to dangerous level?

On my dad side, his mother died of breast cancer, his sister had cervical cancer and i believe another one had ovarian.(My dad has like nine brothers and sisters so it’s confusing)
On my mom side, her mother and father both died from colon cancer.
What are my chances of getting these any of these in my situation? I’m 14, so when should i start taking precautions for these cancers? I’m kinda nervous for my future. Thank you.

My mom is addicted to Norco and Xanax. She desperately wants to get off, but all these detox programs in our area cost thousands of dollars we don’t have. She is currently living off of SSI and I am a full time college student. Is there some way we could do this cheaply or for free? Are there any charities out there that do this kind of thing for people? She’s been addicted for over five years and her health is starting to deteriorate as a result. She’s tried cold turkey, as well as every relevant phone number in the book (including local churches). It seems like we’ve exhausted every possible option we know of. Any suggestions?
I live in northern California, San Fransisco Bay Area

My mom has had a fever for 4 days and has been feeling sick. She had a kidney transplant in 2005 and her immune system is gone. Her normal temperature is about 97.6 and she has been above 100 for the last 4-5 hours.
