I get a lot of migraines, but I don’t know if they are just plain headaches, though I guess it doesn’t make that much of a difference, so this question is just to answer a personal question of mine’s. Thanks for the help.

I’m 22 and have had migraines for as long as I can remember, they run in my family. I am currently taking Imitrex, but it doesn’t prevent them or cut down on the amount I get. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Every time I drink Orange Juice(freshly squeezed does not affect me) or consume any kind of yellow cheese, I get migraines and sensitivity to light. What could this mean?

What are some common migraine medicines?

I believe my migraines are weather related. I get a nasty one every time a storm rolls in. I’ve tried sinus medicines, excedrin migraine, advil with coffee, a humidifier, nothing works. My head hurts so bad and I get so nauseaus I throw up. I was wondering if prescription migraine meds have any effect on weather related migraines, and what side effects they have? Can someone on birth control take them? Thanks.

Is it normally for migraine to accompany period?

I do have a bleeding disorder that shouldn’t make me keep getting migraines with my period. I am now on day 2 of period and day 3 of this migraine. Is this normal?

I get terrible headaches when I drink most wines or liquors. I found a Pinoit Grigio from Italy is fine, as well as Vodka distilled 5 times. I know there’s something that’s triggereing migraines in the liquor and those 2 liquors are apparently void of it. Do you know what’s in liquor that’s casuing headaches and what else is out there that might work for me to drink?

I have been having frequent migraines, and it is very annoying to have them while i’m in school, etc.

I have severe migraines at least four times a week lasting for the better part of the day. I am prescribed narcotic painkillers for this, that I must take or they could become bad enough as to not allow me to function.

Im 27 and have been getting migraines for 6 years. I’ve seen 2 neurologists at Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Alfred Hospital but they’ve been no help.
In the past 2 weeks I’ve had 2 severe migraines with vision loss and loss of feeling in my arms. I’ve never had these symptoms before, nor do I usually get auras or vomiting with migraines, but have with these last 2.
Does anyone know if there’s a headache clinic or specialist in Melbourne? Or anywhere in Australia?

I suffer regularly from migraine headaches with aura (I go blind for about twenty minutes and then my vision returns when the headache starts..) I’ve just been googling migraine on the intenret and have read that it can make someone permenantly blind, and can increase the risk of strokes and coma. Is this true? I’m panicking now because I suffer from migraines at least twice a week.

I recently discovered that my migraines are triggered by cold weather. I discovered this due to me only getting migraines on cold days and on the winter months.

Could wearing a hat during the cold days help prevent these migraines from triggering.

If there are any more days like this then I’m going to have trouble keeping up to date with school work. Please help me out!
My migraines began to occur when I was eleven years old. I am now 14 years old.

They are intensely painful and usually last for at least 8-24 hours. Can be below that on a good day =)

I really need your help! I have to do a speech on migraines and I have to open it up with an introduction. However, I cannot come up with anything and I am drawing blanks. The intro has to be relevant to the topic and will serve as an attention getter. Any ideas/examples? Thanks in advance.
