What can i do to get rid of my migraine headaches problems permanently ? My medications are not helping at all and it’s effecting my education.

I am 16 and have been getting various types of migraines since i was 3 or 4…i have heard of certain pressure points, and different techniques that could help relax you when you have a migraine.

I cried all night long and I’ve been suffering all day long from the worst migraine ever! I took a Motrin and an Excedrin Migraine pill and I’ve been laying in my dark quiet room all day. And nothing is helping! What can I do to make it go away?

I believe my migraines are weather related. I get a nasty one every time a storm rolls in. I’ve tried sinus medicines, excedrin migraine, advil with coffee, a humidifier, nothing works. My head hurts so bad and I get so nauseaus I throw up. I was wondering if prescription migraine meds have any effect on weather related migraines, and what side effects they have? Can someone on birth control take them? Thanks.

I have severe migraines everyday. I wake up it’s there, I go to sleep it’s still there. For the past 6 years I have lived with a migraine that never goes away. I’ve tried all of the major OTCs and prescription medications for headaches and nothing ever works. If there is some odd, non-medication treatment (besides accupuncture which failed to work for me) that you’ve tried and it worked for you please let me know.
I’ve also been to many doctors because of this, I’ve spent time at MHNI (Michigan Head pain and Neurological Institute) which specializes in headaches, and they can’t even tell me what’s wrong.

I took an analgesic and antipyretic pill for my migraine 2 hours before and at the moment I have fever also. Is it harmful to take the same pill now?

I do have a bleeding disorder that shouldn’t make me keep getting migraines with my period. I am now on day 2 of period and day 3 of this migraine. Is this normal?
