I have thyroid disease and I am taking synthroid for it. If I start to get hot I will break out into a sweat. It is like a hot flash. I don’t have night sweats so I know I am over the menopause thing. Does anyone out there do the same thing that has thyroid disease? This is very bothersome to me… a real drag!

I am ttc. I feel SO GROSS >:P right now (and have felt like this all day) hot flashes started around Friday/Saturday night and know it is too early to show symptoms I would only be 2-3 dpo. I feel so gross, hot flashes, nauseaous and dizzy is this related to ovulation/ pre-conception?
I am only 23 years old so it cannot be menopause it’s not naturally/physically possible.

I had a partial hysterectomy at the age of 28 for fibroid tumors. I already had 4 kids, and had been suffering for a couple of years. I turned 40 just 2 months ago, and have been having hot flashes for about 6 weeks, is it menopause or something else? We don’t have medical insurance, so going to the doctor to run the normal test for menopause is not an option.

My mom is going through menopause and is experiencing hot flashes that are really bothering her. She is too afraid to take any kind of drugs so I was wondering if there is anything natural she can do to stop the hot flashes and if there is what and where can she get it?

My mom is 48 and going through menopause. She gets these horrible hot flashes and I would like to know of something she can take "AT HOME" that could possibly help. I’m sure she could get prescribed something and all, but her appointment for the doctor isn’t for another 2 months, so just wondering if anyone knew of something she could take or use?

I started a new medicine today that I was told it will cause hot flashes until my body adjust to it. Even though I went through menopause 5-8 years ago, I have never had a hot flash. I want to know what to do when this happens? I want to know how long does a typical hot flash last? I get panicked over things easily, so I want to know what to expect and what I should do.

I am 54, how long does menopause last? I don’t want to take hormones. I’ve had hot flashes for atleast a couple years now, but especially for the last 8 months.

I am only 26 and for the past month since moving into my new place, every night I wake up in hot flashes and cold sweats, I keep the air on and I dont have any medical problems, could it be early menopause or me just not being comfotable in my new home?

I am 53 and am finally I believe in menopause. I am not feeling to bad except for a few headaches and exhaustion but mostly the hot flashes. Living here in Texas with the 100 degree heat sure didnt help (looking forward to winter), anyway I do not want to go on any drugs and prefer to do it naturally. Can anyone recommend any vitamins, teas, foods anything that will help my hot flashes. Thanks in advance.

I am 45, diabetic, going through menopause and have almost no sex drive. My blood sugar is under control. What else can I do to increase my libido?
Serious answers only please. Proven homeopathic remedies? Links where I can learn more. Real life experiences would be great!
Thanks in advance.

I had my ovaries removed in June, and almost two months later I started having hot flashes, and I wake up at night sweating. I thought hot flashes only happen during menopause, not after.
And if this is the reason, how long does it normally last?

I had a hysterectomy many years ago and am now wondering, without this indication of the onset of menopause, how else do you tell if as a 51 year old woman when I am experiencing menopause?

I still have symptoms but I don’t know how long it should last. I’m 55 and have been in menopause for approximately four to five years.

I’m having my last ovary removed next week. Will the menopause symptoms hit right away? Am I in for a nightmare or just a bumpy ride. I have to wait a couple weeks before starting any hormones due to endometriosis.
