What do you think about the hypotheses proposed to try and explain the existence of menopause? Do you think one makes more sense than another?

What are the consequences or side effects of taking menopause pills, or estrogen, to increase breast size, for a twenty year old?

Lately I’ve been having hot flashes and excess fatigue. I wake up after a full nights sleep and become insanely tired a few hours later. I also have been getting hot flashes and are always sweating even when the room is set at 60 degrees. Are these signs of any particular disease. I want to have a heads up before I get my blood drawn. 60 years old, have had hot flashes/night sweats hourly for the past 4 years. I keep waiting for it to end. Don’t want to go HRT route. Could it be something other than menopause? Doctor thinks not, but I’m thinking of getting a second opinion. Anyone have any experience with this?

I had a full hysterectomy a year ago and have been going through an induced menopause ever since, I was just wondering how long it is likely to last as i know it is not as long as a normal menopause. I will not take HRT.

She went to the MD and was tested for elevated estrogen/progesterone/luteinizing hormone, but all were within normal limits. IS it possible to be starting menopause without having elevated hormones?
