By traditional medicine I don’t mean dancing around with a chicken bone and chanting in a hopes of being cured, I mean things more along the lines of herbal and home remedies. Just for the record.

I understand different types of alternative medicine are used to treat different ailments. But in general what type of alternative medicine is the most effective at treating what it purports to cure? For your answer can you give an example of the type of ailment and what it is exactly that the alternative medicine does to cure it so I have a better understanding?

I’m still not sure whether I actually get a doctrine’s degree or just a master’s in sports medicine. I either want to work at a clinic or for a team (nfl, nba, soccer, etc.) Please tell me how I can earn either positions and the steps I need to take for either path. I am doing my senior project on regenerative medicine and am having trouble finding someone who is a specialist in the field but my teacher told me to find someone who works in the field most closely related to this. A lot of people have told me internal medicine would be a good pick.

I would like to try alternative medicine, what would you suggest?
Health issues:
-bipolar disorder type II
-Anorexia with bulimic tendencies (Getting therapy)

I also have a dairy/lactose free diet.
I am getting "real" medical treatment. However, I would like to try these things as an additional treatment.

I know herbal is better than modern in most cases, but for my paper i need a source that says the opposite.

I am looking for some good cholesterol lowering foods and also some low cholesterol meals that are yummy. Hereditary reasons have caused me to get on a cholesterol medicine but I also want to be proactive in what I eat.

Does anyone have any recipes they can share? Or know of good yummy foods that lower cholesterol, that are good for you and such. I’m just not big into oatmeal at all. I ate way too much of it as a kid.

I’ve had a stopped up nose now for more than a week. That’s the only symptom I’ve had. I’ve tried DayQuil sinus, OTC cold meds, and even some prescription strength Mucinex but nothing is helping! Could it be allergies instead of my sinuses? If so, what is a good allergy medicine that can help w/ congestion? And how can I tell if it’s allergies instead of sinus problems? Thanks

Chemotherapy/Radiation etc is nothing but poison to the body. When you poison the immune system and irradiate tissues, you create physical imbalances which in turn can create cancer. This is the simple reason why so many people who subject themselves to conventional cancer treatments find themselves battling recurring cancer. Conventional cancer treatments are downright brutal and destroy the immune system. I strongly believe in prevention and alternative medicine, and living a pure and natural lifestyle with raw organic foods, so my family and I will probably never ever get cancer. But if me or my kids or wife ever got cancer I swear I would never subject myself or them to that torture just to please the big pharma companies which don’t give a sh*t about people. Just like I would never give them a bottle of rat poison to swallow. The big pharma companies only care about their trillion-dollar a year industry and keeping people brainwashed. My question is would a parent be legally allowed to refuse conventional cancer treatment if their kid got cancer?

My sinuses are clogged today and I am getting a sinus headache. I would prefer not to have to take any medicine, what else can I do?
