I have a research paper to write and it is based on the medicine and remedies and how they were dangerous during the Elizabethan Era. I need to find a book or two that tells about this. If you could reference me to a book or simply tell me about the remedies and medicine used during this time, that would be great. Thanks!

I really want a medicine that will make me go to sleep really quick because my cold is making it very hard to sleep. I have an ear ache, sore throat, stuffy nose, and head ache.
It’s so hard to sleep and I just really want a night time medicine to kind of knock me out because typical Tylenol PM isn’t working for that purpose.

What exactly is meant by 'conventional medicine'?

Does it refer to traditional medicine? e.g. Chinese
OR does it refer to western (latest technological medicine)?

Do the volunteers already have some illness that there is a chance the medicine could cure in testing?
If so, for most illnesses (e.g. diabetes) medicines already exist that would be safer for the patient to use. Also the people who may look to untested medicines because no existing medicine works would not make up a reliable sample for people affected by the illness, right?

Are the volunteers given money? If so, how do they acquire the illness the medicine is designed to cure?

What is the main motivation for volunteering in human clinical trials?

By traditional medicine I don’t mean dancing around with a chicken bone and chanting in a hopes of being cured, I mean things more along the lines of herbal and home remedies. Just for the record.

I understand different types of alternative medicine are used to treat different ailments. But in general what type of alternative medicine is the most effective at treating what it purports to cure? For your answer can you give an example of the type of ailment and what it is exactly that the alternative medicine does to cure it so I have a better understanding?

How do you become a sports medicine doctor?

I’m still not sure whether I actually get a doctrine’s degree or just a master’s in sports medicine. I either want to work at a clinic or for a team (nfl, nba, soccer, etc.) Please tell me how I can earn either positions and the steps I need to take for either path. If there are any more paths I can take with becoming a sports medicine doctor, please let me know. Thanks!

I am doing my senior project on regenerative medicine and am having trouble finding someone who is a specialist in the field but my teacher told me to find someone who works in the field most closely related to this. A lot of people have told me internal medicine would be a good pick.

I know herbal is better than modern in most cases, but for my paper i need a source that says the opposite.
I’m really desperate.
Any link or advice on where i can possibly look is welcome.
It doesn’t even have to be long. Just as long as the basic point is there that modern medicine is better/ more effective than herbal.

Thanks much

I am looking for some good cholesterol lowering foods and also some low cholesterol meals that are yummy. Hereditary reasons have caused me to get on a cholesterol medicine but I also want to be proactive in what I eat.

Does anyone have any recipes they can share? Or know of good yummy foods that lower cholesterol, that are good for you and such. I’m just not big into oatmeal at all. I ate way too much of it as a kid.
