My husband has high blood pressure and been prescribed Crestor & Micardis. But, due to high costs, we are unable to afford his medications. What are YOUR food suggestions? Everyone always say "diet and exercise" and we know that. My husband does not have a problem with his weight. He’s 38 years old, 165lbs., 5′7" tall. He’s still muscular (somewhat) due to years of body building. His siblings (all under 45 years old) & parents are all under medication for high blood pressure & high cholesterol.

I’m a recent graduate of massage school and would like someone to give me information regarding oxycontin and massage. Is there a certain time massage would be safer for clients using this medication. Are there any reference materials you would recommend regarding medications and massage?
Also this particular client has 4 herniated disks. I am a little nervous about working on her. Any info is greatly appreciated!

I am seeing my pediatrician today and I am going to be asking her if there are any medications that might help my colicky month old son. Anyone ever have meds prescribed for colic? If so what was it and did it actually help? i also read that probiotic drops might help by aiding the babies immature digestive system. Anyone try them? I am desperate to find a way to help my little guy.

I had a partial hysterectomy at age 32 due to cancer, then had my ovaries removed at age 57. I just recently began having extremely intense, uncomfortable hot flashes. I am taking numerous medications and wonder if this is a side effect or if I may need hormone replacement treatment. (I thought I was too old to need hormones). I will, of course, ask my Doctor, but wonder if there are any Nurses or Doctors or persons who have had such an experience who can give me any information. Thank you.

I have a friend that has RA. She needs her medications, but the doctor she use to go to will not give her a prescription for it. She really needs HELP! Is there an organization for people that have rheumatoid arthritis?
She is on Medicare and Medicaid and totally disabled, with a fixed income.

my mom has had rheumatoid arthritis for about 9 years now, and she had a knee replacement about 6 years ago… lately her arthritis has been causing her a lot of pain that she loses sleep over… medications that her doc gives her do not help. Are there any natural remedies or vitamins she can take to help ease the pain?

I have a moderate case of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and have been on pretty strong medications for it since I was 2 years old. I currently have a 3 1/2 month old and am breast feeding so I can not take any medication. I am in a lot of pain but do not want to sacrifice the breast feeding so I am looking for another option. Example: a special diet or anything???

I’m 26 years old and have a very consistent menstrual cycle. I’ve only missed my period twice since I’ve started at 12 years old. But I have been experiencing Hot Flashes at night and during the day. There have been people who have started menopause early, but I do not have any other symptoms.
I’ve always been "hot stuff" and do not tolerate heat. It’s winter now and I have still feel like I have hot flashes about once a day. Currently I am not on medications or have any other symptoms. I do have insomnia that I’ve been coping with. Do you have any suggestions on what else could be going on? Is this "minor" issue worth going to the doctor for?

I will be divorced in 2 months and will have to find my own health insurance. I have been with Anthem for 14 years and have no health problems and no medications except 1 blood pressure pill a day. I am waiting for a quote from Anthem for a single policy but I am afraid it will not be affordable. Thanks for all the help I can get!
