Like those people who are against taking any form of medication when they are delivering and people who are against taking simple drugs like advil, etc. Basically the people that believe that the only form of a cure is the natural way. Are they scientologists or what?

Ok, so I have to go to work in 3 hours, and I would really love to know how to clean out my sinuses. But, I don’t have a netti pot or any medication. Is there a way to do this without either of those?

My hubby’s reading today was
HDL – 61
LDL – 167
Trigy – 89
Cholesterol ratio – 4.0
Total cholesterol – 246
Fasting glucose – 93
Blood pressure 138/80
Does this look normal or should he be on medication due to the high LDL? At what readings should a person be diagnosed with medication? Appreciate your kind replies.
Thanks so much for your kind reply, Pauline.

My dog began having seizures about 10 days ago and began taking Phenobarbital then. Today while out at dog related event, he became very fearful, anxious, and was barking loudly as though he was in pain, though I could find no reason for any of this. Could this be a side effect of his medication? He is only a little over a year old.

I was hit in April by an uninsured motorist; he totalled both our cars. I have since seen 8 doctors to diagnose several issues caused by the accident. I’ve undergone xrays, physical therapy, ultrasounds, blood tests and an MRI, and am now on medication and more phys therapy.
I had k in uninsured motorist medical coverage, which my ridiculous claim adjuster told me last week ran out over a month ago – I’m now getting bills I can’t afford, and I’m not yet well. A friend said I can demand more $ from my insurance company? But he also said Colorado requires insurance companies to cover all med bills, and I’ve found no such statement on the CO govt sites.
My regular health insurance won’t cover these bills – what do I do?
Was also told attornies won’t take my case: the kid who hit me is likely illegal, has been unresponsive. One lawyer said even if I won the case, wouldn’t necessary get $ out of it. Last thing I need are lawyer bills.

My 13 year old son has been having migraines every couple of weeks. He has to take Motrin and lay down in a dark quiet place and sleep it off. His pediatrician is reluctant to put him on medication since it is not happening once or twice a week. Is there anything I can do to help him other than what I am doing?

New doctors have found out I was misdiagnosed with diabetes. There were problems with the glucose tolerance test. My doctor said I had hypoglycemia. He told me I needed to be treated with diabetic medication. What effect would the glimiperide have on my system? Did it make my pancreas increase my insulin levels, trying to lower my blood sugar levels ? However it worked, it really has my endocrine system all messed up. Does anyone know about this?

I have severe migraines everyday. I wake up it’s there, I go to sleep it’s still there. For the past 6 years I have lived with a migraine that never goes away. I’ve tried all of the major OTCs and prescription medications for headaches and nothing ever works. If there is some odd, non-medication treatment (besides accupuncture which failed to work for me) that you’ve tried and it worked for you please let me know.
I’ve also been to many doctors because of this, I’ve spent time at MHNI (Michigan Head pain and Neurological Institute) which specializes in headaches, and they can’t even tell me what’s wrong.

i wanted to know about the research not your opinion.

I had just gotten over a small fever last week, but I still continue to have mild headaches, and a sore throat (it hurts to even swallow my own saliva). I’ve been taking Tylenol, but it only provides temporary relief! Is there a medication, or is there something I can do to make them go away permanently?
