My husband is English. His mum used to make a Kidney Yorkshire Pudding. From what he told me, the pudding was a bit denser than regular Yorkshire Pudding. The kidneys were sliced and baked on top of the pudding. Any ideas on how to make this? Also, I am a yank, so I have no idea how to prepare the kidneys before baking them. Thanks.

I am doing a science fair project and I need help to understand your kidneys. What I am trying to figure out is which type of drink will make your kidneys work the hardest. The selected drinks are energy drinks, coffee, pop, juice, water, salt water, and milk. So our hypothesis is that coffee will definately affect the kidneys the most but what I do not understand is how we prove that. Does a more frequent urination mean your kidneys are working harder or does urine colour determine that?

I have been diagnosed with kidney stones about a few months ago. I had two of them removed from my urethra along with many more still sitting inside my kidneys.
My question is how long will my other kidney stones that are sitting inside my kidneys come out?

went to a specialist after months of severe neck pain…and on the Mri it showed a white lump on my neck. The dr didn’t seem concerned and had me have a ct scan. He said it was a benign hemangioma and nothing to worry about. This lump has been killing me, feeling like it was twisting my neck, last night I was up till 7:30 am. I also developed chest pain..and pain in my left side, could that be the spleen? I don’t know what the problem is, and the dr’s don’t have a clue either…any ideas? Could this be cancer? Aren’t malignant tumors not painful and benign ones painful? If it isn’t cancer…then what?? I had lyme disease last year but was treated…is it possible I wasn’t on medication long enough? The tick bite has gotten red again…from last year?? Or is this just a coincidence?
I also have severe burning on my left side, by the ribs..and what I assume is the spleen looks enlarged. I have joint pain, and my back burns so much that I thought I had a heating pad on lol…my mom said that means inflamation of the kidneys??? Is this cancer? Lyme disease? IDK
I had lyme disease last year, but was treated. I have joint pain, and the bite where the tick bit turns red on occasional days, but that was last year? I have had some headaches and hearing loss…LYME DISEASE?

I heard that if you get a really vigorous massage around your kidneys, that your pee can sometimes basically become carbonated, and it really hurts to urinate. Is this true? When I get a massage, can I just tell them to avoid my kidney area so that it won’t carbonate my pee?

I’m 16 and have inherited high blood pressure from my mom. They have ran numerous tests(kidneys, blood, urine, etc) and have found all to be normal. I am athletic and eat rather healthy compared to most teenagers. I rarely ever drink soda and never add salt to my food. What are some ways to lower my blood pressure? Eat more fruits and vegetables? Drink more water? I REALLY do not want to live the rest of my life taking a pill to keep my blood pressure low.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, what causes homosexuality? How do they go about treating it? What are there views on it?
Please paste links with your comments if information is from a website.
I heard it was a result of yang deficiency and something about the kidneys and loss of jing from this website, but now I can’t find that website!
Please note: I am not against homosexuality, it is just that I am interested in learning about the TCM view of it.
Thank you.

I’ve been doing a little research on those colon cleansing kits and they seem like the way to go for a healthier system. I work out regularily & have begun eating better. These kits are believed to eliminate toxicity and waste from the body, reduce stress from our vital organs (liver, colon, kidneys, blood, skin, etc.) and support the rejuvenation of the immune system. This all sounds great, B U T…..EXPENSIVE!! I just wondered if anyone knew any safe home remedies that might work as well?

My brother-in-law has just been diagnosed with colon cancer. Apparently it’s already spread to his liver and lungs. He also has some cysts formed on his kidneys and pancreas. They’ve told him it’s terminal and he has about 3 years to live. The man is only 41! He has 4 young girls, the youngest being 3. He hasn’t started any treatment yet, but they’re going to do a colonscopy, and will remove the colon, then he’ll start chemo. My question: Is there anything out there that could possibly fix the damage done? Any sort of herbal remedies he could try before the doctors start their treatment? What about life insurance? Does anyone know of a company that will cover him? Has anyone recovered from this illness personally? If so, how? We refuse to let him die without first trying every available resource possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
