I have absolutely NO medical coverage, dont qualify for state help and cant afford medicare at 1 a month and cant afford health Ins through husbands job, I have diabetes and no financial means to pay for my much needed test strips.

I have damged frizzy hair and I heard Wen fig cleansing conditioner is really good but other than that one which other products are out there in stores that i can buy for cheap that really do the job and leaves hair smooth and helps damaged dry hair? Help please. Thanks.

Why is it separated out like that? Why would a doctor willingly not use a particular medicine if he knows it’s the best medicine for the job, wouldn’t that be a violation of the hippocratic oath?

What is it, a conspiracy to only use medicines created by the major drug companies or something?

Just got the shock of my life on my answering machine. My drug test was "rejected". Does this mean Failed? Im stoned? Im just a family man in my mid 40s and have never used drugs in my life. I dont even drink booze. I havent taken any prescription drugs or even over the counter in 6 months. I cannot believe it. I fly back to my hometown to get a job to start immediatly and I get this. Im taking another one but Ill at the least be unemployed waiting for another 3 weeks. How accurate are these things? Im guilty of too much caffiene in my jumbo travel cup and shouldnt smoke Marlboro’s. I support Lowe’s efforts for a drug-free workplace, but geez!! Get a new laboratory contract. Im as squeaky clean as they come.

My dad was employed at his job for about 30 years and had a good union with great heath benefits (health insurance and drug prescription medicine benefits). My mom is really sick and takes about 6 different prescriptions a month which are really expensive. Since my dad had benefits from his job had only had to pay a co-pay for the drugs. Now he retired and his job does not have retiree benefits. Is there any affordable way for my dad to get the drugs my mom need? She is already on medicare plan b but does not qualify for the prescription medicine part D. Any ideas?

Why does our governmant do this. I am lookin far and wide for a way to afford my medication. I’m 26 and just started my own buisness. To have to take another job just for coverage right now would really kill my progress. I just don’t have the time. I am not ant- immigration by any means, but I have to say that I’m anti-illegal because if they are affecting the medical care system..that is unacceptable. Elderley people have problems getting meds as well..pathetic
Nancy any clinic in the US…just walk in and prove you are an illegal and have little income(which isn’t hard because they can’t check up on you)

I use to drink several pots of coffee daily, now I am down to a 12oz cup in the morning and a 12 oz in the afternoon. The problem I have is my job require me to get up very early sometime as early a 2:30 am. On my days off I want to sleep in but wake up between 4-5 am with a splitting headache that lasts all day. I am tired of fighting headaches on my days off and want to kick the caffeine habit altogether but the headaches are preventing me from stopping cold turkey.
Does anyone have any suggestion or have faced the same thing in the past?

I’m working at a hospital as an admitting representative now. I want to become a coder. If there aren’t any entry level positions in HIM, what other departments should I consider? When they hired me, they said the hospital would pay for medical billing certification (I didn’t ask about coding).

I know technical schools offer coding programs, but I would rather get my foot in the door first as I’ve heard it is very difficult to get a coding job with a certificate and no experience.

I was planning on taking online classes my community college offers for medical coding to get a certificate and it offers internship too. Will it be hard to find a job after completing it all? Thanks alot.

I reaaaally like Science and I enjoy, specifically, the human body and ocean life. Ocean may not have to do with medicine but I enjoy it. I’m really not looking to be a doctor but anything else dealing with medicine or even just some ideas of a job I could have that deals with science.

I am looking for a medical coding and billing internship so I can get experience. I am already going to school so please don’t give me any schools sites and please no sales sites. I just want to know if anyone in San Diego is doing the same thing I am and if they have had any luck finding a internship or some kind of way to get the experience. I have heard it is hard to get a job in this field without it. Is this true?
