My hubby’s reading today was
HDL – 61
LDL – 167
Trigy – 89
Cholesterol ratio – 4.0
Total cholesterol – 246
Fasting glucose – 93
Blood pressure 138/80
Does this look normal or should he be on medication due to the high LDL? At what readings should a person be diagnosed with medication? Appreciate your kind replies.
Thanks so much for your kind reply, Pauline.

I can’t believe I’m this old and still can’t seem to get this right. My mother-in-law (she’s 80 and lives with us) is in the hospital with pneumonia, apparently developing it rather quickly. She has had several trips to the ER about her back (sciatica) recently, and someone said she could have gotten it there.
What I can’t seem to get through my head is which one is contagious … it’s viral, right? I don’t know which one she has yet (hubby finding out now), but if it’s viral then my next question is going to be what should I do to protect my kids and me, who are home with her all day lol.

My hubby has passed several stones in the past 2 weeks. He isn’t doubled over in pain yet, but he can always tell when he is going to pass a stone. We have gone to the ER in the past, and they always treat him like he is a college student trying to get pain killers. He has smoe pain med here but they dont help much. Anyone have any "at home" remedies to help with the pain?

I`m moving from country to country because my hubby is a businessman, so I have difficulty of tracking my children immunization schedule, besides the services in some country I am in is terrible. They have so many children coming in and out the immunization department. They didn`t even use swab before injection. And sometimes nurses come to your door to give polio to your child. They didn`t ask whether your child had taken or not. Sometimes my children have polio twice in a month. Once at school and one at home.
I heard that immunization is not necessary now. It is parents` choice. Should I just refuse to get immunization for my children? or what the most important one my child should have?

It seems my hubby is getting hemorrhoids (Maybe he’s getting them for me so I don’t have to have them lol) and he has a really nasty one is there a way to help it? We don’t have any creams or anything just standard kitchen items.
He wants to know if popping it will make it feel any better?

Me and my hubby have been trying to conceive for about 8 months now. And I’m five days from the time i would start my period. I have just getting over my first ever yeast infection. And I seem to be sleeping more than normal and some foods seem to sound really good randomly. By the way my boobs are sore… I was just wondering if this is common or if I’m imagining things. And I have a normal cycle but I ovulate about a week or so into it in stead of around 14 days.

I recently went on a disney cruise which was AMAZING. While there, me and my hubby had a facial and massage together. As usual, after the facial they told us their "findings" about our skin. The girl that did me told me that I shouldn’t use Proactive anymore and should start using anti-aging products, especially products with collagen in them. I’m only 21, so I thought this would come in, maybe, 9 years. What is your opinion? The earlier the better?

I’m fully breast feeding my 5 month old and I know my hormones are all over the place, my hubby and I make love at least two times a week but I want my libido back! Is it because I’m thinking of baby? or does it just take a while? or after I wean the breast feeding?
