I don’t think it is hot flashes. When it happens, not only do I feel hot, but I get white as a sheet. My hands and feet also get tingly. Hot flashes don’t make you pale, do they?

I am 27 and I take Ortrotricyclen. I get hot flashes frequently. Especially when I am Pmsing and More at nighttime. I’ve been taking bcp’s for 4 years now. Could this be caused by the pill?

I am only 4 weeks pregnant and I have terrible hot flashes! I had them even before I got pregnant (the doc thought I was premenapausal). Now it’s out of control. I know I can’t take any of the medicine I use to take for it. Any suggestions?
Oh, and I can’t stop sneezing. I don’t have a cold nor allergies.
To make matters worse…I live in Florida!!

I am coming up on 32 weeks pregnant and I keep getting hot flashes! I get short of breath, start to get a head ache, and I can feel my face heating up. Anyone else feel this, or just plain uncomfortable at this point? Now that our little girl has less room she is not doing as many gymnastics but definitely moving in uncomfortable ways!

I have been having severe headaches every day. I have been diagnosed in the past with migraines, but I can tell the difference between migraines and just a regular headache and what I’m experiencing is not migraines. I have tried sleeping this off and everything you normally do with a migraine and nothing works. I’ve also taken tylenol, aleve, exedrin migraine, advil, exedrin tension headache and asprin and also have put a cool cloth over my eyes. I have had a lot of stress, which has been reduced so I’m not sure that’s what it is. In addition, I have been having some dizziness mostly when I move my eyes around, nausea (which I bought medicine for) and hot flashes a lot. I sleep with a fan on to help with this. I’ve had 2 CT scans done in the past year, so it’s not anything serious like that. I’m only 24. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what I could do or what this is?

I have hot flashes that come on very strong and last only a few moments. I need to know if there is any medication or any other thing I can do to get the hot flashes from coming so often?

I do not want to have to take any hormones or other prescription medication. But the hot flashes are getting so frequent and so bad that they are affecting my ability to function normally sometimes. (not to mention embarrassing in a store or at work)

I had a partial hysterectomy at the age of 28 for fibroid tumors. I already had 4 kids, and had been suffering for a couple of years. I turned 40 just 2 months ago, and have been having hot flashes for about 6 weeks, is it menopause or something else? We don’t have medical insurance, so going to the doctor to run the normal test for menopause is not an option.

I’m not taking any hormone replacements; have gained weight since-that I cannot take off-no matter what I try! But I mostly want to know if I have to live with these hot flashes for rest of my life. They do not make a woman feel very attractive. Thank you!
