I started doing a colon detox this morning. I drank the drink and took one of the morning pills and was fine all day. I just took the 2nd pill dose and all of a sudden had a hot flash throughout my entire body. I also took 2 tylenol for my headache and a benadryl to help me sleep. My head hurts and I feel tingly all over! I am scared! I’ve just moved to a new state. I’m home alone with my son and I don’t know any of my neighbors! My fiance is out of town! I’ve had anxiety attacks in the past but this feels different. My whole neck and shoulders and down my arms tingle…. what should I do?
Believe me this is the last time I use this stuff. I feel much better now!

OK whats the deal with them?i never heard of getting hot flashes during pregnancy….i am 24 my second pregnancy….first one i had hot flashes all the time sometimes it was everyday …now is this the same thing as morning sickness…..i had a hot flash while bra shopping at walmart…nearly ripped my shirt off i gave my basket to my husband and went to try n sit down and i didnt feel better sitting down so i sat on the floor this was as we were paying i felt so freaking hot my whole body was sweating and then started gaging and threw up yes i threw up in walmart…im so proud…!!!so whats the deal this pregnancy i have only had this happen now twice im around 14 weeks is there something i can do when i feel it starting to try n stop it or is this something that has to ride out on its own?

My mom is 49 years old and has been having sudden anxiety/depression. She describes what sounds to be like a hot flash combined with sudden anxiety and panic. She went to the MD and was tested for elevated estrogen/progesterone/luteinizing hormone, but all were within normal limits. IS it possible to be starting menopause without having elevated hormones?

I have thyroid disease and I am taking synthroid for it. If I start to get hot I will break out into a sweat. It is like a hot flash. I don’t have night sweats so I know I am over the menopause thing. Does anyone out there do the same thing that has thyroid disease? This is very bothersome to me… a real drag!

I started a new medicine today that I was told it will cause hot flashes until my body adjust to it. Even though I went through menopause 5-8 years ago, I have never had a hot flash. I want to know what to do when this happens? I want to know how long does a typical hot flash last? I get panicked over things easily, so I want to know what to expect and what I should do.

For the past two weeks, I’ve been unable to sleep at night due to night sweats and hot flashes. When I get a hot flash within a couple of minutes it feels like my heart is going to jump right out of my chest. Is this normal? Any remedies for relief?
