How often do I need to get tested for AIDS/HIV even though I haven’t had sex in 10 months? and last time I was tested was in 7 months ago and I was negative.

I was just wondering, since I’ve heard a lot of people talking about scientists working on a vaccine for swine flu. How long will it take for a vaccine to be developed, though? After all, the HIV virus has been recognized since the late 70s or early 80s, and we STILL don’t have a vaccine for that!

Im worried i could have said disease because i have IBS and mucus and blood comes out of my anus and am worried i could have gotten hiv from using public restrooms seats?

I’m just getting paranoid, becuase I went to a walk-in clinic to receive a vaccination. The vaccination was free, which surprised me. Does any one know the percentage of people that contract HIV from needles from doctors? I know they are supposed to toss the needle out, but there are shady doctors.

Also, how is a population of HIV viruses different than a multicellular organism. How does the shape of HIV virus relate to the particular function in the disease?

I was just wanting input from you guys that have Volunteered at a HIV/AIDS center where they do testing and stuff. I was thinking about Volunteering but I wanted to know about your experiences first.

someone I had sex with just had a hiv/ aids test bc I came back positive for something. If he had came back hiv/aids positive would DHEC have contacted me to make sure I got tested bc someone I had sex with came back positive for it. Would they have contacted me immediately

I was recently in a car accident, admitted to ICU and my blood was tested for drugs and alcohol. I have heard that whenever blood is taken at a hospital that they are required to test it for all variations of Hepititis and HIV/AIDS. I was wondering if this is true and if the hospital is required to inform you if you test positive for any of the above.

Is there one for HIV and one for AIDS, or one test that covers both?

i want to get tested for HIV/AIDS and all stds. and im on my period but its VERY VERY light. like barely anything. and i was wondering if i can still go in tomorrow for my appointment?

Will any insta-care kinda place work? Do I have to go to a special facility or hospital?
I’m 99% sure I don’t have any of the standard STDs, but HIV doesn’t have symptoms that would be fairly obvious without testing. This is a genuine concern, I need to know.

Ok so i hae had unprotected sex on couple of occacions with my boyfriend who is rummored by alot of people that he had hiv/aids.
so me and him both went to a clinic near by to get tested and we both come out Negative.
But im still scared that he might have something because he’s cheated on me with 3 different girls and etc….
