I have been hearing that the acai berry is supposed to aid in weight loss. What type of results should one expect to see from the use of it? What is it? Is it a safe method to use? Are these any side effects? Where can you buy it? at a local grocery/ health food store?

I wrote to my local health food store, and they cannot guarantee that the Omega-3 pills they carry do not carry seal oil – vaguely referred to as ‘fish oils’ – AND I wrote to a large vitamin company, and they said that they are working on it.

I am wondering were to buy the Acai Berry pills without risking the possibility of getting a ridiculous online bill later on. Can you buy them at a health food store? Costco? Walmart? Shoppers Drug Mart? I heard they have amazing health benefits besides just weight loss.

What kind of jelly at the grocery store has the most resveratrol in it? What about jelly at a health food store?
Does just the plain concorde grape jelly have any?

I just got a puppy from the pound and he had kennel cough, I took him back and they said that there is no treatment for this. They did give him antibiotics for a possible secondary infection but kennel cough has to run its course much like a humas virus has to. They did say I can use Robitussin DM for the coughing symptoms. The puppy is fine but now my older dog has it, the vet said we have to let it run its course but she looks so miserable. I am giving her robitussin but I want to give her a boost of natural antibiotics that are safve for dogs. I did get some drops from the health food store but they do not have any antibiotic properties.
HELP! Thanks

Is there any concrete research that these cultured dairy drinks are useful to human health? Are supplements from a health food store just as effective? Can some probiotic supplements be harmful to anyone?

I was just really sick and had to be on antibiotics, so once I’m off them and better I’d like to go to the health food store and get things to kind of fix myself up, since taking any kind of "meds" makes me uncomfortable. Are Probiotics or any kind of protein drinks, etc any good? Thanks!

I am taking a wide spectrum of antibiotics right now and want to get started on some probiotics. I bought some from a health food store, but have no idea how to take them. Is there a certain time of day to take them, and how closely can I take them with my antibiotics? Or does none of this matter at all? Thanks! P.S. I’m also eating yogurt.

My ped suggested I start giving my baby probiotics from a health food store because he was having problems with loose stoole while he was on antibiotics for an infection. It worked great! But, I was curious if anyone else had ever either given them to their baby or had even heard of them.

My vet has given a prescription for my dog and I have some from the health food store that I take, so I wanted to know what the difference is? My vet said that there is, and since these pills cost over from vet, I would like to use something else.

Just need something to increase libido and/or testosterone. Nothing for ED or impotence. Just want to increase the interest/drive. I want something I can get at a local health food store that’s a natural herb and is safe to take.

I heard that the average person has anywhere from 5 to 15 pounds of fecal matter build up inside their colon! (YUCK) and that a colon cleansing can get rid of that. Is that true or just junk science?
Also, if a colon cleansing is worth the money, do you have to go to a doctor to get one done or can you buy something at a drug store or health food store and do it yourself?
Thanks for any help and / or advice.

For example Dr. Floras Colon cleanse. The product is very costly more so than what you can purchase at a health food store.
