My brother was shown a partner notification letter that his girlfriend of less than a year could have HIV/AIDS. Plus a letter showing her appointment for an HIV/AIDS test. I told him to dump her. ive never been tested before, and neither has my girlfriend. she thinks she may have it because she is paranoid and says her back is always aching so she has aids. i wanna go get tested just to be safe. she is scared of needles so she says there is no way she could get blood drawn..dont they have an option for oral smouth swabs too? is that just as accurate as blood testing, or no? how much does either method cost? i dont wan to spend money on getting tested if the test isnt going to be accurate.
