my boyfriend had a sinius attack 2 days ago, he said his whole skull felt like it was constantly being smashed into a wall, his nose isn’t blocked and he can breath normaly. the phermecist prescribed Rinex Diffucaps which are for effective relief of cold and flu symptoms but are not for chronic sinuses. even if you know of any naturel remedies, it would help.

I am pregnant with my first child (30 weeks) and I’m very confused about what to do about his year’s vaccination plans. I discussed the matter with my family doctor and he said I should take the seasonal flu vaccine when it comes out (mid-October) then take the H1N1 vaccine when that comes out (early-mid-November), and I’m due early December.
What are other moms-to-be planning to do?

Do patients often face the choice of waiting 2 weeks for an appointment or going to the emergency room for relatively minor things, like a cut that needs a few stitches, an infection which may or may not be swine flu, etc? Does this practice drive up the cost of health care and insurance?

The probability of an adverse reaction to a flu shot is 0.02. If the shot is given to 1000 people selected at random, what is the probability that 45 or more will have an adverse reaction?

2 days ago I got a tetnus shot. My arm is super sore of course but I keep feeling extremely achy and have major pains all over my body as if I have a bad fever or the flu. Very unpleasant
is this normal?

When I used to donate blood, I would feel tired the next
day, but I had no other significant side effects. I always
drink plenty both before and after donating, but the last
two times I’ve had a low-grade fever (chills/sweats) and
significant joint stiffness for two days afterward.
Are there other steps I can take to minimize thes side
effects?
One of the answerers pointed to a web
site which states there are no side
effects. So do I believe an expert
or do I believe my "lying eyes"
I’ve gotten slightly sick both of the
last two times.
I wonder if the beds in the blood
mobile could be a vector for the flu
virus? Maybe the puncture wound makes
me more susceptible to infection?
I will mention that the Red Cross
person who took my blood did mention
that some people report "flu-like"
symptoms after donation, so maybe I’m
not the only person to experience this.

I got a flu shot today and was charged a co-pay. Is this because the new law only applies to new insurance plans?

I am 5.5 weeks pregnant, and my company is giving out free flu shots. Is it recommended for me to get the shot now?

My son was deemed a "suspected swine flu" case today. I was told that he was contagious 2 days prior to onset of fever (which would have made him contagious Friday). When could he have been exposed?
