Hello, I am a fourteen year old girl, and I want to get tested for AIDS/HIV. I am not planning on having sex anytime soon at all, I am just really paranoid that I may be a carrier, and I want to know if I am. Would the doctors have any problems testing such a young person, or would they be suspicious of me having sexual activities? Should I tell my mum? I’m worried all these people may get suspicious of me and that rumors might get started. I just want to know for my own sake and awareness. Any advice? Should I be worried about AIDS/HIV anyway, or should I let it go?

I am looking into becoming an emergency room physician, but I was wondering if you are still able to have a social life. I know that is it about 11-12 years of schooling including the residency, and I understand that the hours can’t be great. I am just afraid of not having time for friends or boyfriends. Why does Health Insurance not pay for Chantix, to help people to stop smoking? I just recently got a prescription for Chantix to help me quit smoking, and insurance will not pay for it? The pharmacist told me that pretty much no insurance will pay for this. Why is it, we are told by scientists, doctors, media, and yes insurance that we need to stop smoking, but yet insurance will not pay o help us have a successful chance at quitting?

My father is a truck driver in California. He was already on medical leave due to a back injury for about 4 weeks, on the 4th week he had a heart attack. The doctors told him he will have to be off for at least 3 months before he is able to go back to work. I had a cervical biopsy done in February. I got it done because my pap smear indicated precancerous cells. When I got the biopsy done, it came back looking fine, but the doctors weren’t convinced since the pap was so irregular. I’m going to get another one done next week.

Because if I do have cancer I don’t want to feel the symptoms of menopause. Will all doctors refuse to give you estrogen after having cancer?

when my grandpa had a stoke last year and got paralyzed how did bed sores kill him from only sitting for not evern a year…. when my other grandpa got paralyzed after surgery when the doctors cut the wrong nerve and was paralyzed for 20 years.. how come he past after such a short period of time???
