What do they do for the body?
If I have a diet high in antioxidants, will my acne go away?
Will antioxidants help me lose weight?
What are foods high in antioxidants?

I fell off the healthy wagon for Christmas and someone suggested doing a cleanse before jumping back into my diet and exercise routine. I’ve never done one so I don’t know which are good/effective and what exactly i should expect from doing one. any advice/suggestions would be great, thanks in advance

I have oral allergy syndrome, so I can not eat fruit. Yes, ALL fruit. That sucks, doesn’t it? Anyway, I am writing a bio essay and we had to analyze our diet. I have to write what health risks I am prone to because of certain aspects of my diet. I can not think of any health risks, but I am thinking that maybe my lack of fruit consumption could lead to something, but what?
Also note: I eat a lot of vegetables, I just don’t eat fruit.
No, I can’t eat a tomato.

I usually like to buy this sub from subway, but I really don’t feel any benefits I read about when it comes to tuna’s omega-3 co-relation. There’s tons of research supporting the health benefits of omega-3 on the brain. What should I supplement my diet with in order to gain the most of the benefits that omega-3 or any "brain food" has to offer?

Suppose you found an overly high level pyruvate in a patient’s blood and urine. One possible cause is a genetic defect in the enzymes pyruvate dehydrogenase, but another plausible cause is a specific vitamin deficiency. Explain what vitamin might be deficient in the diet and why that would account for high levels of pyruvate to be excreted in the urine. How would you determine which explanation is correct?

my diet and activity have not changed but i’ve suddenly developed painful joints. the onset was subtle and gradual. after three days i was so swollen i couldn’t walk or make a fist. after a week the swelling is diminished (not gone) and the pain remains. i’ve had bloodwork drawn but results are slower than my patience. i’d like to be prepared for whatever comes.
so far i’ve heard of (and i’m being tested for) thyroid, lupus, osteoarthritis and diabetes.
please provide reading material is possible.
i’m in my early thirties. i hate to put it this way but i really think i’m too young for arthritis or simple aging. i constantly keep my hands busy with sewing and typing. i promise the problem can not be lack of activity.

I’ve seen all these adds online about some miracle acai berry diet and I’ve read and heard that the acai berry is a great berry full with antioxidants and what not. But how does it help you lose weight?

Is there certain food or natural herbs that can be included in the diet to accomplish this?
