I have all the symptoms of diabetes, except the actual sugar part. Is there any condition that has all these symptoms besides diabetes?

ok so in the past 3 months ive had 2 yeast infections and I’ve gone to the doctor for both. my doctor asked if diabetes ran in my family an I told her that both my grandfathers have it. my doctor said that if I keep getting these infections she’s going to have to test me for diabetes. I’m kinda confused because I don’t see the conection.

Some of my family has diabetes and some of my boyfriends does to. Does that mean the baby has a high chance of being born with diabetes?

My granny has diabetes. At night she has hot flashes. A friend told her when that happens to check her blood sugar, so she did and her blood sugar goes up to 160+ so my question is what is going on? What causes this to happen?

my diet and activity have not changed but i’ve suddenly developed painful joints. the onset was subtle and gradual. after three days i was so swollen i couldn’t walk or make a fist. after a week the swelling is diminished (not gone) and the pain remains. i’ve had bloodwork drawn but results are slower than my patience. i’d like to be prepared for whatever comes.
so far i’ve heard of (and i’m being tested for) thyroid, lupus, osteoarthritis and diabetes.

I’m doing a project on diabetes and i was just curious to see what could happen if you didn’t get a blood test or didn’t spot the symptoms and went on living with it. Would you go into a coma? Could you die? Whats the worst that could happen?
