My dad passed away from colon cancer in december of 2007 only after 9 months. but i read that the survival rates were higher than that. he had surgery, chemo and radiation. i was wondering if certain cases can be more aggressive and harder to treat than others?

My dad recently had chemotherapy and finished it about 2 months ago, my mums got a cold and shes wondering if his immunity is going to be back to normal by now. Do we have to worry about him catching a cold or something more serious because of lack of immunity after chemotherapy or should he be back to normal immunity by now?

My husbands niece just found out she has Rheumatoid Arthritis & my husbands dad has it also. My father-in-law just told me his dad had some form of Arthritis. When should I be concerned if my son has it? When can they start tests to see if has it? Thanks in advance for your answers!

My family has a very long bloodline of depression like my dad’s sister and grandmother were diagnosed also my mom, brother, mom’s sister, and my mom’s mother all were diagnosed with depression. I want to know if there is any way to prevent it because I have not been diagnosed and really would prefer not to be.
Thanks!

Well my dad bought these capsules, and it says vitamin E : antioxidant protection against oxidative stress. He said it helps with stress or something because I have been really stressed about school and all that.
The question is, what will it do for me?
Will there be any side effects?
Should I take them? (I’m 13 )
Thanks

Our family isn’t the rich type, and we also don’t have medical insurance. I am 14 and my mom has High Blood Pressure. I don’t have a dad and i want to help my mom. She is 45 years old with a blood pressure of 150/45. Are there any good exercises or diets that are not too expensive or time-consuming so that my mom can lower her High Blood Pressure?

I’ve been taking the ‘Flintstones’ vitamin plus iron for a while. My dad got me some ‘Your Life’ omega 3 fish oil pills. Is it okay to take these two at the same time?

My dad is paying the cost for all the vaccinations for my little kittens that i just got. They are old enough now to get all their needed vaccinations. I live in London and don’t have a clue where to bring my kittens. I am really short with money at the moment so if someone could tell me a vet’s website where i can book an appointment and pay straight away online, that would be fantastic.
Thank you for your help.

I know diabetes can’t be cured but whether it’s injections or tablets etc. Thanks!
No it’s not homework. My dad thinks that he might have diabetes and I’m worried that I could have it too so I just want to know a little bit more about it.

I am 25. On my dad’s side, his sister had breast cancer. I also believe my great grandmother as well. On my mom’s side, her sister, and my great grandmother. I haven’t been to the doctor in awhile. Insurance kicks in soon, then I will go get a FULL exam. I am just wondering.
