After taking Yasmin for 1-2 years and finding out it’s a really bad BCP (on my physical health), I switched to Alesse 28. I’m starting to realize that birth control is taking an effect on my libido. I have a couple of questions…

Is there a type of birth control pill that is less harmful to your libido?

Is there a better birth control method that is better for your libido (that isn’t condoms…)?

How do they test rate of aids infection in people?

http://www.mg.co.za/articlePage.aspx?articleid=293523&area=/insight/insight__national/

They say Circumcision cuts the rate by 50%. Did any of these circumcised men used condoms any at all during the trials?

Did they give them HIV infected partners to ensure accuracy?

Maybe it was all left to chance and the circumcised men ended up sleeping with less HIV infected partners.

So, I just went in to get birth control and I was told that my blood pressure is a little higher than they would like. I’m going back in next week to get it re-checked, hoping things will have calmed down in my life.
What are options for birth control (besides condoms) if someone has high blood pressure? Are there just different types of pills, or IUD, or patch, or what? I forgot to ask when I was at the office. Any help would be great.

I use the NuvaRing for birth control. I have a yeast infection. The miconazole cream says "this drug should not be used with other vaginal products", but don’t specify anything like the ring – only condoms and diaphrams.

I can’t use diflucan/fluconazole for this yeast infection, so please don’t suggest it.

I can’t take the NuvaRing out for long enough to use the cream, so please don’t suggest it.
Please note that this is an *internal* cream. I’m well aware that my vulva won’t explode if I apply it outside. I want to be able to take the applicator and apply the cream the way the instructions tell me to: inside my vagina.

How long should my friend wait to get an AIDS test?

My friend’s boyfriend cheated on her with a girl that does heroin. He said they used condoms every time but word got out that they are now afraid of a pregnancy…so I need desperately for my friend to get tested.

However, we don’t know when he first started cheating. My question is, how long does the AIDS virus stay in the body before it shows up on a test? We don’t want her to go in to get tested too soon.

Can lubricated condoms cause yeast infections?

I am on the pill, but my boyfriend and I have started using condoms again because we figure it’s cleaner and safer that way. I’m wonder though, if lubricated condoms are known to cause yeast infections or be irritating? If so, which type or brand are less likely to do that?

I’d really like to do whatever I can to avoid things like yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis.
