I am 20 years old and have a fever of 102.8 and i was wondering if there is any home remedies that will help bring down a fever and was also wondering what kind of illnesses can cause fevers.
Ive also had the chills really bad and i have been taking ibuprofen and it does bring it down to my normal temp for a few hours and then goes back up. ive been coughing alot too.

Today my friend’s mom has been having moderately severe dizzy spells. And after her hot flashes and dizziness subsides she gets very cold and starts having the chills. Can anyone tell us what’s wrong and maybe a way to temporarily cure it?

Okay.
Two days ago I got four mouth sores all over my mouth [two inside my upper lip, one under my tongue, and one on the side of my tongue] and my throat started to hurt.

Today, the sores are bigger even though I’d been brushing my teeth about three times a day and using mouth wash two times a day since I got them. And my throat feels like sandpaper. It hurts to drink water!!

My question is: whats up with my mouth??
Where on earth did this burst of bacteria germy germs come from??? Could my problem be helped by the simple solution of just changing my toothbrush?

[and to those of you who think it could be herpes.. its not. i havent done any special activities]
oh, and I don’t have the chills or a fever at all. Its just the throat and the sores.

I’ve had a fever since Thursday night (I could tell by the chills) and when I went to the doctors on Friday I had 102.1. It’s now Monday 3PM, nearly 3 and a half days later, and i still have 99.5 degree temperature, should I go to the doctor?

I heard long term fevers can cause problems other than just the discomfort.

I have a fever of 98.9 at the time, and i’ve been pregnant for 2 months and this hasn’t happened before. I am having chills and I feel very nauseated, also I have a very bad headache. Also I feel as if my heart is skipping beats, it also feels as if it’s a little hard for me to breath.

I had sore throat three days and then now I got severe deep consistent cough, with chills or high fever.

What could this be?
It seem to send half the people at the shop home for two weeks.

Early yesterday morning I woke up feeling very hot and clammy but also had a bit of the chills, it was very uncomfortable.I’m not sure it was a hot flash.If this were to happen in public I don’t know what i’d do.I’m only eleven weeks and six days along, could this be normal? What are the side affects of a hot flash? I greatly appreciate your answers. Thanks.
