I am trying to decide where to get treatment and just went for a 2nd opinion for my breast cancer treatment. I am triple negative, and like the naturopathic approach. Has anyone went to them for treatment? What were your results?

For instance, my wife had breast cancer and it has opened my eyes into other types of cancer. I am finding people at work with colon and pancreatic cancers and I have read books about people’s experience with childhood cancers. So, because of your cancer or a loved ones cancer have you gain insight or knowledge in the other cancers?

susan komen is a gender biased and sexist charity that only cares about women over the age of 50.

Less then 1% of men get breast cancer and children even less.

I believe in equality and know susan komen and breast cancer survivors have something against men and children or they would have created a charity that supports all EQUALLY
Denise, it is obvious you are the one with the problem. You will only support breast cancer and thats it. No skin cancer, no prostate cancer, no brain cancer. Your feminist tirades are falling on deaf ears.

Recently the White House was illuminated in pink lights at night for breast cancer awareness.

When was a similar event held for prostate cancer?

Ever since I was in high school, I noticed that girls seem to think only women get cancer.

Or that if men get it, it’s not important.
Thanks, momo. I knew we’d make up.

I got 3 solicitations just today, Nat’l Found. for Cancer Research, Nat’l Breast Cancer Research Center and the Nat’l Cancer Research Center. I also get them from local agencies on a regular basis.

On my dad side, his mother died of breast cancer, his sister had cervical cancer and i believe another one had ovarian.(My dad has like nine brothers and sisters so it’s confusing)
On my mom side, her mother and father both died from colon cancer.
What are my chances of getting these any of these in my situation? I’m 14, so when should i start taking precautions for these cancers? I’m kinda nervous for my future. Thank you.

I want a breast cancer tattoo with the ribbon and flowers around it that mean support, beauty, and strength. The thing is, is that I have never had breast cancer in my family. But I really love to support it and I think the victims are so strong. What can I do?

I’m eligible for breast reconstruction because of the different sizes of my breasts, I’ve been reading up about the risks of having the procedure done and most of what I find is about getting it done after having breast cancer. I want to know if the risks are lower or different for me since I didn’t have breast cancer, seeing it mentions having radiation and everything for cancer treatment.

BREAST CANCER????????

I am only 13. :( I know that breast cancer tumors are usually really small … like a pea or a grape. But mine are big and they seem as if its just 1 big one in each breast. Both breasts seem to have the same structure and form of the lump. I am still going through puberty, so could it be the milk glands developing? Never had any history of breast cancer in my family. How long should they last and will they ever go away?
I’m a girl…the name is just fake.

The BRCA-1 Gene (breast cancer gene)
If a male is a carrier for the gene What will happen to his daughters?
Males can be carriers for this gene. If gives them a higher chance of develpoping prostate cancer (I am not sure why) Even know it is breast cancer. I think it is from a hormonal basis. But what happen to their daughters?

Don’t get me wrong I think breast cancer awareness is an extremely important cause, but the survival rate is much higher than other types of cancer (ex. pancreatic cancer). And other major causes like world hunger, literacy and animal rescue don’t get nearly enough attention as they should.
