New doctors have found out I was misdiagnosed with diabetes. There were problems with the glucose tolerance test. My doctor said I had hypoglycemia. He told me I needed to be treated with diabetic medication. What effect would the glimiperide have on my system? Did it make my pancreas increase my insulin levels, trying to lower my blood sugar levels ? However it worked, it really has my endocrine system all messed up. Does anyone know about this?

My employer is asking for a medical exam. I thought by law they had to provide one for me but I guess since I’m foreign their not worried about following laws and I don’t think theres much I can do besides quit or get a medical check up. Even if I quit, I want to get my blood checked etc.
Can I go to a small local clinic or do I have to go to a big hospital?
How much will this cost if I have national insurance?
They will check blood sugar levels right?

I am an American english teacher in China. I have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. My Chinese friends suggested I start taking a daily combination of royal jelly and propolis. I am totally sold on it. I haven’t taken any diabetic medication in six months and my blood sugar levels have been consistently normal. I even eat something sugary about once every two weeks. I highly recommend these products to anyone with diabetes. My Chinese friends even believe that after several years of daily doses of rj and bp there’s a chance diabetes can be completely cured! I have searched and searched the internet for how these products affect diabetes and, apparently, there’s been little research done on it in the West. Can anyone illuminate me on this?

My doctor believes that I may have diabetes. He is lending me a meter next week for a week to test my blood sugar levels.
Just wondering about how other people were feeling when they first found out that they had diabetes.

I have been drinking 100% natural frozen orange juice concentrate for several years now. I always thought this was a very healthy thing to do(relative to a soda pop addiction I still believe it is) but from an overall health standpoint and articles on Dr. Mercolas website, drinking concentrated fruit juices is not all that healthy since it causes spikes in blood sugar levels. So i have given up frozen concentrate juices and replaced them with plain old fruit to satisy my sugar cravings. Im eating watermelon constantly throughout the day. I’ve been doing this for a couple months now. Well, I just read in Trivia’s Vitajournal that "the average person should eat no more than 32 grams of sugar per day." The article then goes on to show that a large apple has 22 grams of sugar. So according to this article if I eat 2 large apples a day Im eating too much sugar. Is it possible to get diabetes by eating too much all natural God given fruit such as apples and watermelon?

8 year old female; no immuno-compromising issues; healthy, active, though she does have a tendency toward sensory processing issues, and because of it can have serious, irrational melt-downs. Lately, the yeast infections have flared up, and so has the sensory processing issues/behavior. I’m starting to wonder if there could be a connection between the presence of yeast and possibly blood sugar levels that affect her behavior? She’s been tested for diabetes – all clear.
