I get really bad migraines. Severe pain, spots in my vision, loss of feeling in extremeties, vomiting, etc. I find it hard to talk, and I usually crawl to the bathroom. Yet I see other people who are walking around, working, etc. and they say, "Yeah, I have a migraine." I cannot be prescribed certain types of birth control, because I am told I have "migraines with neurological affects."

Are there different types, because when I get one, there is no functioning at all. Yet, when I see someone who is walking around and talking, and claims to have one, I am yet to believe that they are actually having a migraine. So are there different kinds?

My girlfriend has a strain of HPV and had warts removed a few years ago. I have always used a condom with her, but I would ideally like her to go on birth control so I don’t have to use one. If there are no warts present, can I get genital warts if I don’t use a condom?

So, I just went in to get birth control and I was told that my blood pressure is a little higher than they would like. I’m going back in next week to get it re-checked, hoping things will have calmed down in my life.

This is my second question about YAZ. It’s good to know that the sore breasts will go away, but please tell me I will get my libido, sex drive back. Has anyone experienced a loss of libido while taking YAZ birth control, but managed to get it back?

Can birth control be one?

I am 22 and today I had a doctor’s visit. I had my blood pressure high today and the doctor wants to check my blood pressure five times before he can diagnose it. I asked him if my overweight can be a cause of it and he said probably not and that it may be linked to the birth control method I was using (nuvaring). My height is 5’4 and my weight is 175.

I have acne on my chest, shoulders and face. It will be summer soon and I am starting highschool after being homeschooled for 7th and 8th grade. My acne gets better during the summer but during the winter months it is really severe(at least I feel that way) is there a cheap and easy solution that won’t stop working after just a little while? I use birth control for my acne and although it helps my face it does nothing for my chest and shoulders. Please Help.

I do a lot of exercise (i run, play tennis, abs, etc, etc), drink a lot of water and avoid salt and greasy meals. I started to use birth control pills, and since then cellulite start appearing, can you suggest me an EFFECTIVE treatment please?

Unfortunately, I have terrible skin because of an excess of testosterone. I’ve been on and off birth control pills and they help it, but they destroy my sex drive.

Which Birth Control pill is better to cure acne, Yaz or Yasmin?

Within the past 2 months I’ve had 3 yeast infections, and maybe one was from one not going away. I’m on Yasmine and could this be the reason? What birth control should I switch to?

I have to be on birth control pills due to midcycle spotting and severe cramps. But I keep getting yeast infections. They’re chronic and go away only to come back in a few days. Is it safe to take acidophilus pills on a regular basis? Maybe I don’t have enough good bacteria in my system to decrease the yeast growth.
