I believe my migraines are weather related. I get a nasty one every time a storm rolls in. I’ve tried sinus medicines, excedrin migraine, advil with coffee, a humidifier, nothing works. My head hurts so bad and I get so nauseaus I throw up. I was wondering if prescription migraine meds have any effect on weather related migraines, and what side effects they have? Can someone on birth control take them? Thanks.

I have been feeling sick since about 12:00am it just came on really quick. I am extremely dizzy and have a horrible stomach ache but I haven’t thrown up. And dizzyness isn’t usually a sign of morning sickness is it? I am just wondering because my period didn’t come this month, but I also couldn’t afford my birth control this month so that could why I don’t have my period. I just don’t know why I would be so sick.

I suffer from migraine headaches. I usually get a really bad one right before I get my period. I remember reading somewhere that you can eat certain food and avoid others to help in the drop of hormones. I have high blood pressure so I can’t take birth control pills to help this.

I get a migraine 2 days before my period every month. Nothing helps it. Not laying down, different medicines, taking a shower, eating, etc.
What is it that causes it? Can going on birth control help this?

I just got on my husband’s plan of blue cross blue shield PPO. There is a 40 co-pay with every doc visit. When I go to the doctor (I’m going for an IUD removal and to talk about other birth control options) will they ask for the money up front or after they are done?
How does it happen for you? Thanks

I have been taking birth controlfor the past 5 years. will it make me get menopause earlier or later? does birth control affect it? Will i get menopause around the same time my mother did or is heredity uninvolved?

What can you do when birth control lowers libido?
My GF is on BC and her libido is nearly gone. She feels like sex is chore.

I started to get migraines when I got on birth control, it was the shot Depo and since then I have been getting migraines and more frequent headache. Could the start of birth control be the cause of my headaches and migraines? I am overweight btw.

I’ve been on Yaz for almost 3 weeks, and I’ve had horrible migraines and nausea for a little over 2 weeks. My doctor has suggested Loestrin FE, but I’ve read online that many people have the same side effects on Loestrin as they do on Yaz. I can’t take being sick everyday anymore. I’ve also heard that taking your birth control pill later in the evening instead of in the morning can help. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Ok I heard that omega 3 fatty acid pills can make you healthier to be able to conceive but I was also going to take birth control to regulate my period. We’re not trying to conceive again yet but the first time it didn’t happen so I figured this was the problem. So my question is can you take the fatty acid pills while taking birth control.

One gynecologist said there wasn’t and prescribed them to me, but recently another one said I shouldn’t take them because of the breast cancer risk. My mother had breast cancer and ovarian cancer. Can you refer me to any studies that have been done about whether birth control pills increase your chances of getting breast cancer?

Old Proactiv?
New Proactiv?
Clinique?
Perfect Skin?
AcneFree?
Something else?
Skin I.D.?
And how fast did you notice your skin was considerably better? I liked AcneFree but they changed the ingredients and made my face swell and unfortunately I had to stop using it
was 2 years ago. Now I just live with my acne cause I don’t know what to use.
What did the doctor give you? Birth control? I am considering that.

I have polycystic ovary syndrome and the best solution to elevate my hormonal levels is to be on the birth control pill. However, I seem to suffer more headaches and migraines while on the pill. I have so far tried Yasmin and LoEsterin and they have made the migraines worse. Is there a birth control pill out there that will help the migraines or at least keep them at bay?
