Any information would be great – I was diagnosed yesterday and the dr said it was inflammatory arthritis, but also mentioned rheumatoid arthritis and I’m not sure if it’s the same or if one causes the other. Thanks!

I have had kidney problems and chronic kidney disease, which even led to me being hospitalized for it in the past. Shortly after, I developed various inflammations, which can be associated with rheumatoid arthritis. I am barely 23, and neither disease run in my family. Recently, a drug I once used was linked to causing kidney problems, among other things. I’m curious if I can hold them responsible for causing my joint problems as well.

I have symptoms of both. At first it was only my left knee, then after a couple of weeks that knee felt better and now a couple of months later my right knee is even more painful. Same symptoms. sweeling, fluid in knee i think. So I’m assuming if I have arthritis it’s in both knees. Tomorrow I will call and schedule an appointment for x-rays probably. Anyone have arthritis in the knee? what’s it like for you? what type do you have?

I took 4mg of diazepam because I had to give a presentation in school (yes I’m in high school and have rheumatoid arthritis, it sucks) and I had almost no joint pain that day! I know people who take diazepam for anxiety take like 40 mg a day so I know my pain didn’t go away because I was calmed down. So I was wondering because diazepam is a muscle relaxant did that have anything to do with it?

In one of my classes we are going to make toys for kids with disabilities and I decided to make a toy for a kid who has juvenile rhumatoid arthritis ages 8-12.
If you can give me suggestions on how to make a toy like this I would really appreciate it but otherwise you can give me some toys ideas or what kind of toys they would like

my friends daughter has rheumatoid arthritis severely and she is ten years old. it breaks my heart to see her lying on the couch in pain and to not be able to do things other kids her age can do. she has a hard time writting and doing a lot of things that put pressure on her bones and joints. she loves doing crafts and i was wondering if anyone knew of any special tools or things i could buy her to make life more comfortable/ any ideas???
she has the arthritis because she had meningitis lime from a tick. its only going to get worse and i was thinking of things i could buy her that she could use like special shoes or scissors or wrist bands or something to make her life more comfortable

What pain killers do they normally prescribe for Rheumatoid Arthritis?
My mom was recently diagnosed and would like to know if it is potent enough, and if I could take a few and she wouldnt notice, like every day if i were to take a few, would she notice?
I’m not a moron. I’d feel bad about it; that’s whi I woudl only take a little bit, but she can get refils right?
