I have symptoms of both. At first it was only my left knee, then after a couple of weeks that knee felt better and now a couple of months later my right knee is even more painful. Same symptoms. sweeling, fluid in knee i think. So I’m assuming if I have arthritis it’s in both knees. Tomorrow I will call and schedule an appointment for x-rays probably. Anyone have arthritis in the knee? what’s it like for you? what type do you have?

I get migraines all the time or what I think are migraines and don’t know what to do for them, and my next doctors appointment is not for another couple of months.

Less than 2 weeks after receiving a DHPP booster shot, my dog started showing signs of liver problems. Increaded thirst, urination, pale gums, lethargic, elevated bilirubin, loss of appetite, distended abdomen, fever 103.4, etc. She was put on an antibiotic. The color has returned to her gums and she doesn’t have a fever. She is less lethargic and has started eating again. Her abdomen is still very large. She is having an ultrasound and appointment with a IMS Thursday.

I’ve been feeling crampy pain a few times per hour for about 5 days now, in my abdomen. I also have a lot of lightheadedness, especially when I stand up. There has also been mild constipation. I called the doctor and couldn’t get an appointment until tomorrow. Can this wait until tomorrow or should I go to the emergency room today?

Where do they go in from? And will he most likely be awake or put under? And are there any kind of sexual or any other side effects from the biopsy?
He has an elevated PSA level and a family history of prostate cancer so they are doing the biopsy.

Do patients often face the choice of waiting 2 weeks for an appointment or going to the emergency room for relatively minor things, like a cut that needs a few stitches, an infection which may or may not be swine flu, etc? Does this practice drive up the cost of health care and insurance?

The "halo" of a newly forming lump was just discovered during an exam. My doctor ordered a biopsy to further examine and she recommends that I return in 6 months to have it re-examined because it is non-cancerous now but it is apparently newly formed and blood was discovered in the biopsy. I have an appointment next week but would like to know if the blood in a biopsy is normal and any recommendations on whether I should have the lump removed now or wait to re-examine later?

Basically I’ve got a new office job and I’m only 16 but I’ve never used the computer so much since January. I am now beginning to get a lot of headaches and migraines and my mum thinks I should get an opticions appointment to see if I need glasses. Can you get glasses to stop migraine’s when using the computer? 10 points best answer!

I just found out I am pregnant and I am planning on getting the H1N1 vaccine at my next O/B appointment. I recently heard about woman in their first trimester miscarrying after getting the H1N1 vaccine. Does anyone have any first hand experience with getting the vaccine during their first trimester?

I received notice in the mail yesterday with my appointment for my endoscopy/colonoscopy. I have to prepare for it one day and then have the procedure the next day. And they are putting me to sleep for it. Should I just prepare for it while I’m at work and only take the day off the for procedure? Or will I feel good enough to go to work the next day after the procedure? Anyone else go thru this and have any advice? Thanks in advance to all answers.

My husband and I started TTC in August, and when I started bleeding, I assumed it was my period. However, I spotted for about 2 weeks, and for about 2 days of that, I was bleeding severely. I started thinking maybe I had a miscarriage and made an appointment with my gyno. When I went in, he did a pelvic exam and said I had a bacterial infection and gave me some antibiotics. He said the spotting and the heavy bleeding was probably due to the infection.

What could have caused the bacterial infection? And could that have been the reason I didn’t concieve, even though we had sex when I was ovulating?

i have an appointment with the doc next week.
for the past 3-4 weeks i have been havin nausea and such a horrible feeling in my stomach. i never actually be sick. but even pressing on my stomach is sore.

im so scared incase the doc finds somethin serious.
i always feel like i have cramps…. has this happened to anyone else, any ideas..

My social Worker referred me to an MD ( I think it’s an MD ) to give me social anxiety medicine. My anxiety is pretty bad and I have an appointment tommorow with one of them there. Do you think I could get the medicine tomorrow ?! How long will it take?
