I’ve never been to the dentist in my life. I’ve got a cavity I want to take care of, but I really don’t know where to start. I mean, I found a dental place near home, but I just simply don’t know what to ask or look for. Ex: fees, do I need to make an appointment, etc. One main thing I’m worried about is not having insurance and possibly being denied treatment.

Hello All,
I am just about 6 weeks pregnant and don’t have my first doctors appointment for 2 more weeks. High blood pressure runs in my family regardless of activity level, weight, gender, etc… it skips around but I was one of the ‘blessed’ ones.
What are some of the risks being pregnant with high blood pressure? What are the doctors going to do about it? Will I be a high-risk patient?

I am 13 and will be 14 in exactly 20 days. I am above average as far as my chest size. For the past few days, I have been experiencing some very bad pain in one of my breasts. I have talked to my mom about it, but she said it may just be a briuse from working out in P.E. She told me that if the pain persists, she will set up a doctor’s appointment. Niether one of us has open expressed the possibility of it being breast cancer but I have thought about it. Maybe I am just ill informed as to what breast cancer is and I shouldn’t be worrying, please help.

I had heard earlier in the season that a person needed to first have their seasonal flu shot before they would allow the swine flu shot. Is this still valid? I can’t find the seasonal flu shot anywhere, but my dd has an appointment Wednesday for the swine flu shot. I’d hate to get there only to hear that she can’t get it.

My sister checked my son with her at home cuff and it showed that his blood pressure was 142 over 92. Can this be right? Is this high? He is 11, 5ft. 3" tall and 175 lbs and he carries all his weight in his belly and chest. I am extremely worried about his weight and I am very concerned about her thinking that his blood pressure is high. I will make an appointment with his physician in the morning but was curious if anyone else has delt with this?

I have an appointment for a sports massage tomorrow at my college and I am worried that I will get an erection in front of the male therapist. I often get involuntary erections and I wouldn’t be surprised if I get one tomorrow. I will have to undress for the massage, so there is no way of hiding it. What should I do if I get a hard-on? Should I excuse myself, or do I need to explain the situation to the therapist before?

I have an appointment for the wellwoman clinic on friday to be officially diagnosed with what i know is genital warts, has anyone been through treatment? How was it? I assume they will use chryotherapy, how long does it take to get rid of them and have healed skin again? How bad is the treatment - how painful on the inner genital tissue? Can they just cut off some on the outer skin around the thighs? Please give your experience and the time ot took to heal.

Constipation states yesterday. Much more than I’ve ever been. Very little made its way out. Today absolutely nothing has come out. How long should I go before seeing a doctor?

I should also note that the problem isn’t getting it to move, but getting it out the exit. It feels too small. My urine is also very orange. I guess I have to drink more.

When should I make an appointment with my GI doctor? It will probably take three days to get in.

My brother was shown a partner notification letter that his girlfriend of less than a year could have HIV/AIDS. Plus a letter showing her appointment for an HIV/AIDS test. I told him to dump her. She has lied and had 2 sex partners besides him but he doesn’t believe it. She said that the letters are a lie. What can I do or say to make him believe it. My daughter is only 14 months old and she has a terrible cough it obviously gets worse at night time, as most coughing does, and she cannot sleep because everytime she coughs it wakes her up, I know its hurting her when she coughs because she is not able to go back to sleep right away.
